oh my god i love reki. Hes my comfort character 10/10 -

••

I stood in front of the rail, beside cherry watching one of Reki's beefs. His red hair shone under the lamps illuminating the dirt course, small rocks sticking up here and there.

The yellow hood of his jacket flapped happily behind him as he soared downhill, slowly gaining on his opponent. Doing the turn trick Miya taught him, he shot past his opponent and downward still.

As the mine came back into view, he smiled knowing he'd have the victory.

Reki plunged down the stairs and into the bottom portion.

After seeing him go by, I'd gone to wait for him in the main area. He smiled and jumped on me when he found my eyes.

"Well done Reki!"
I congratulated my friend on his win. (Ouch.)

The redhead shook out his fluffy locks.

"It sucks Langa couldn't come tonight. Of course he had to run deliveries."

The male sighed.

He always talked about the blue haired boy in front of me.

Langa this, langa that.

A not so nice feeling erupted everytime the Canadian's name was mentioned.

It surely wasnt jealousy.. I had nothing to be jealous over... Right??

Leading his by the hand, the both of us trekked out to my car and started the drive back.

"So do you have any more beefs soon?"

I question him. He quietly shook his head and stared at his board.

"You know Lang-"

"Can you please not talk about Langa around me?"

Reki looked at me, startled.

I'd stopped the car at this point, head between my arms which were bowed.

From what he told me, there was a frantic, almost desperate look in my eyes.

"You dont know how it feels, every time we talk its always langa not you and I, Reki."

He turned away, his face covered with guilt. He knew it was true but he never meant to make Y/N feel this way! Honest!

"Im so-"

"Sorry doesnt quite cut it tonight."

Both of us fell silent as the dirt kicked up behind us.

Short and angsty.. I'll have more soon!
