1st person for once
Maple-ish leaves drifted by my face, the smell indescribable but only known as familiar. With a scrap of cloth with the same leaves dotted on it clutched close to my chest, i looked up at the sky. Everyone in teyvat sees that sky, all of us see celestia, destined to fall. We all observe the same peaks and crags and ridges carved from the earth.
Kazuha slowly comes up behind me. I can tell it's him by his step, a light footfall that places a bit firmer on the ball of his feet.
Turning to meet him, i quickly capture his lips with mine, a smile donning both of our faces. The red streak in his hair glows brilliantly against the orange tints of the sunset.
His hand clasped within my own, we both seat ourselves, an unspoken understanding of what is said traversing between us.
Love is hard to explain but with my darling Kaedehara Kazuha, everything feels right.
The world is at peace when we are together.
Settling to crawl into his lap, i give him a small smile before leaning back into his chest, eyes slowly fluttering closed. I can feel his red hues smiling down on my sleeping figure.
Soon, i know he's asleep too.
