The cafe was nice and quiet today, the customers weren't rude and entitled, the talking was reduced to whispers.

I sighed in content, my legs ached but the fact that there were not a lot of customers lessened the things I needed to do.

Glancing outside, the park out front had children playing, running around it as they slid into the slides, went up and down in the seesaw, and went swinging from front to back on the swing.

The childhood days were the best, peaceful, as others might say.

I turned back to the front as the customers started pouring in, pushing my sleeves back, I got ready for what's about to come.

A few hours later, my shift had already ended. The sun was setting, providing a nice view to see as I walked.

I placed my headset on, not giving care to what's around me, and only looked in front. Walking back and forth from work, school, and home was getting a little tiring.

The two roommates I had owned the place, those two were in a relationship, good for them. Both of them were my childhood friends, grew up with them, cried with them, anything the closest friends would do.

I sighed, I was now in front of the door to the house, I really hope they're sleeping and not doing it again. I closed my eyes and opened the door.

I walked in and opened my eyes, looking around, I saw the fiasco happening in the kitchen. I locked the door, took off my shoes, and covered the view with my hands, maxing out the volume as I walked past them.

Walking up the stairs, I entered my room. Good things this house had two rooms, a big one and a small one. The two roommates of mine slept together, the sleeping part goes for sex and actual sleep.

"When will they stop doing it in public places?" I sighed. Closing my door, I quickly jumped onto my bed, getting into a comfortable position.

Taking off my headset and replacing them with earmuffs, my ears can be at peace. I stood up, my face all scrunched up as the tiredness settled in.

I went to the bathroom and took a bath, showering for a few minutes. I finished and wore pajamas. The comfort and warmth it gave were perfect, the only problem was… I'm hungry.

I groaned, my stomach rumbled. I laid on the bed and closed my eyes shut. I don't know if they cooked dinner or whatever kind of food, but doing it in the kitchen makes me want to avoid that place at all costs.

As I was about to fall asleep, a sudden pain arose in my stomach. I can't deal with this anymore…

Standing up, I got out of my room and walked down. I ignored the fiasco happening on the counter as I opened the fridge and inspected the contents.

The only edible food was the cake which, unfortunately, I didn't own. The eggs were in their shells, still not cooked. I let out an annoyed sigh, I turned to the both, still oblivious of what was around them.

Turning to the dining table, not even a plate nor a container of food was on top of it.

Taking the nearby spatula and pan, I banged them together as hard as I could. The two immediately stopped and turned to me, their eyes widened as they quickly tried to cover themselves up with the scattered clothes on the counter.

Turning away, I placed the pan on the stove and turned the fire on, adding oil and placing the eggs nearby. I turned back to them, they were now fully clothed.
