{A/N: This story is a continuation of the story titled "Prove It" from my other book; For the sake of this story, before Y/N met Leo, she had moved to NYC with her family from her original hometown}

Key:

Y/N/N = Your Nickname

D/G/N = Donnie's Girlfriend's Name

Y/F/C/: Your Favorite College AKA the college you plan on going to, or it can be random if you don't have a  specific one in mind

Y/F/C/M = Your Favorite College Major AKA a subject you plan on majoring in for college, or it can be random if you don't have a specific one in mind

Y/H/T = Your Hometown

Backstory: It's karaoke night in the lair, everyone else has had their turn, now a nervous Leo and Y/N must overcome their fears and do their best to perform a duet preassigned to them by Mikey and Leo, unbeknownst to Y/N. Can they accomplish a perfect duet without embarrassment from their friends and family?  How long can Leo keep up his faux nervousness before the jig is up?

Y/N: "Well, I guess it couldn't hurt to try. What do you say Leo?"

Leo: "Hey, as long as you're there to back me up gorgeous, I'll try anything. Let's do this thing!"

Y/N couldn't help but laugh at her boyfriend's signature party animal attitude as Mikey spoke up.

Mikey: "That's the spirit you two. So, ladies and gentle-turtles, I give you the one and only Leo and Y/N!"

The couple then walked to the makeshift stage side by side as Y/N took a deep breath to calm her nerves, to which Leo replied with a gentle squeeze of her hand, which she greatly appreciated. She loved when Leo was brave enough to show affection towards her in front of others, since he normally preferred to do so in the privacy of his room or wherever they could find time for just the two of them. As the music began the others gave them a small round of applause as a sign of encouragement, to which they responded with grateful smiles.

{A/N: Start the video; Bold and underlined is wherever I've edited the lyrics}

Y/N:

I used to think we lived at the top of the world

When the world was just a subway map

And the one-slash-nine

Climbed a dotted line to my place

Leo:

There's no nine train now

Y/N:

Right

I used to think the Bronx was a place in the sky

When the world was just a subway map

And my thoughts took shape

Both:

On that fire escape

Y/N:

Can you remind me of what it was like

At the top of the world?

Leo:

Come with me

As they began the routine for this song they had done in the privacy of Leo's now soundproof room, the loving gazes they had directed towards one another never left their faces.
