I sighed and shook my head turning to my right to make my way towards the Vampire kingdoms section. Taking a left would have been faster but I didn't want to chance another run in with the stranger, not right now at least

The section for Shapeshifters is to my left so I will be walking through the Mermaid kingdom, the Werewolf kingdom, and the Fairie kingdom before I will get to the Vampire kingdom.

I come up with an excuse for anyone who asks why I was walking through everything; that I was checking to see where all the drink booths would be so I could be more time efficient with getting drinks

I smile to myself proudly as I walk along the arena, taking quick glances when people aren't looking to see what they are like but I mainly keep my eyes lowered, my head almost in a bow

I notice most people around me are basically dressed the same. They all had at least some sort of shade of blue on to represent their kingdom. Most were wearing summer clothes and all of them had tan glowing skin. I could hear people laughing and conversing with each other about one thing or another, most barely paying me any attention. I noticed they were also all very lean like there was barely any fat on their bodies. I looked down at myself and frowned slightly before shaking my head and continuing on.

I came up to a silver roofed stand and stood beside it. An older woman was setting things set up and she seemed to smile at me as I approached and I bowed at her.

I could tell from her pearl earrings that she was definitely not a Shapeshifter.

Sensing my unease the woman chuckled a bit "you can look up at me young lady, I won't bite like some of the other heathens here"

I smiled to myself and hesitantly looked up at her and she smiled back at me brightly

The woman in front of me was older, maybe in her 50's or 60's. Her hair was like salt and pepper in waves that framed her face. There were wrinkles by her eyes that were accentuated when she smiled but besides that her tan skin was flawless and glowing. She had a necklace on with a coral colored seashell on it and I noticed the pink hue matched the pearls on her ears. She wore a simple cream colored blouse and loose fitting navy blue pants.

"So have you been assigned here as well?" she raised an eyebrow at me as she waved her hand procuring two glasses in front of her to fill with water and passing one off to me

I took the glass hesitantly but didn't want to be rude so I took a sip as she did

"No, I was just walking through all the kingdoms to make sure I knew where all the drink booths were," I glanced around then back at her "to be more time efficient"

"Uh huh" she nodded grinning "so it has nothing to do with that handsome Shifter boy that's been staring at you for the last 5 minutes" she nodded her head to the right of us

I glanced over and saw Landon, he looked concerned. Probably mad since I was looking at and talking to a Mermaid

I smiled at him and nodded gently to signal I'm okay and he nodded wearily before turning his back to me, his eyes averted to the booth in front of him

"No, that's just my friend Landon. He's a bit overprotective sometimes and I have a bad habit of getting into trouble" I laughed a bit awkwardly

"I'm Andromeda Loch"

"Madeline George," I hesitate then see the woman smiling kindly at me, "but you can call me Dilen"

"Well Dilen," Andromeda looked down at a watch on her wrist "I'd day you better hurry and check out the other areas before opening ceremony. You got about 15 minutes"
