"Shit" Jackie groaned, "That was rough"

They all just watched Anti run down to the basement presumably in a panic.

"Now would be a good time to interrogate him again" Marvin suggested, "I mean . . . even I think it'd be overkill but-"

"We can't do that" Chase shook his head, "Dudes. . . .he needs some time. And I think a little time will benefit all of us after that"

Henrik nodded, "I believe Chase is right. Let Anti think about what just transpired."

Jameson looked fearful, though, 'I feel horrible for him. I thought Dark was supposed to be his friend'

"Friends don't leave each other behind to get tortured" Jackie said bluntly, "It's horrible . . . but it's the truth. I feel bad, too, but we've already come so far. Plus we still need to know what that device is so Dark doesn't get it"

"True" Henrik nodded, "So, we're letting him stay down there for the rest of zhe night?"

Marvin rolled his eyes, "Might as well. I hate the guy but . . . . . he needs to work this out by himself for a bit"

Chase nodded, "I can't imagine what he's going through"

With that, they went back into the living room either chatting or watching TV. When Jameson's stew was done, they had dinner. Jackie contemplated taking a bowl down for Anti but decided against it. He didn't want him getting upset again suddenly.

'Tomorrow's gonna be rough for him' Jackie thought to himself, 'I wish he'd just tell us. Then this could all just be over'

Anti stayed in his cell the rest of the night.

Just thinking.

One side of him said it was all just a ploy and the other said Dark was telling the truth.

Of course he never really cared about him! Always ordering him around. Always treating him like shit. Messing with him. Making him play on Wilford's stupid death show.

Anti had lost count on how many times he would have died if it wasn't for his glitching.

'But Dark didn't want to leave me that day. He apologized because he HAD to leave! He cares. He has to care.'

But also, Anti wanted to believe he didn't give a shit if Dark cared or not. He didn't NEED friends. Dark was only his ALLY.

But then he'd just be lying to himself, wouldn't he?

No.

Yes.

He didn't know anything anymore. . . . .

Dark always kept a special folder on his computer just for him. Ordered him whatever he wanted to eat WHEN he craved something. Broke Google and his fights apart and would take Anti's side to his face even though he KNEW Anti most likely started it.

Anti just felt a harsh high pitched ringing in his ears. He knew his blood pressure was in the sky but he didn't care.

Before he knew it, it was the next day and Chase came downstairs to get him up.

The father seemed to pity Anti but he still had to carry on the means to try and get him to talk.

"Hey dude . . . come on up for breakfast."

Anti just stayed in his corner curled up, shivering as he knew what would happen by not moving.
