Chapter 31

*Lilith*

As soon as the ambulance left, I grabbed my phone and called the only person I thought of that could help me get Kelly before it was too late.

"Kyle I need your help asap," I said quickly. Kyle was quiet for a moment of the other side of the phone.

"The only reason I know that you're not fucking with me is the fact that you didn't call me sweetheart this time for fucks sake. How can I help?" He asked and I sighed in relief. I didn't have time for all of that stuff that I usually did when calling Kyle.

"Someone I know is in nek deep in shit, and I want to get them out of it as fast as possible." I said, not wasting any time.

"What do you want me to do?" Kyle said. I smiled.

*Kyle*

Fine so I might have grown to like the Shadow, I'll admit it. Not in a romantic way, but she was just such a psycho that you had to like her for it.

Just the fact that she didn't call me in her usual fashion already told me enough. And fuck, but I had to help her. I had taken her in to be an assassin with a few of the other members that worked with me when she was 13, and her parents had died.

It sucked for her, but selfishly, I was glad for it. She was one hell of an assassin and a great asset. In my opinion, I wasn't a bad person for thinking that, she was just another one of my assassins. And yeah fine, I might like her the most.

"I need you to get out a few of your best assassins for me, could you send them to my house?" Shadow asked. To be honest, she was the best assassin.

"Done. I'll send in 3 of them, Reaper, Killer, and D'ath. They all identity as he/him. Update me on how it goes." I swear I didn't know what the fuck was going on and why they all chose the terrible. Names. It was just so cliche.

"Thank you. I will." She said shortly, but I knew she was great full for what I did. She never asked for anything, and I knew it was hard for her to call me and ask for help. But she did it anyway. I was proud of the person she had become.

I was stressing the fuck out. I ran to the computer that Charlie had been using before we went to plan the death of Steel, and opened it. I unlocked it with the password and frowned.

Charlie had been playing Minecraft. That's what she had been hiding. She wasn't doing anything illegal or dangerous. Just playing Minecraft. Her world was damn good too. I saved it then left the game and clicked on the tracker we had put on Steel's car.

Who knew, maybe he wasn't home or something and I would know where he was instead. I was pretty sure he would go and bother Kelly as soon as she was in his grasp.

I looked at the tracker and saw he indeed wasn't home. He was in a forest in the middle of fucking nowhere. But I knew where he was. If I drove fast I would be able to be there in about 15 minutes. I ran and grabbed a few extra guns, plus some other useful things.

Just then, I heard heavy footsteps in my living room and I put on a quick black face mask to vaguely hide my identity. 3 men were standing like damn giants waiting.

"Reaper, Killer and D'ath?" I asked keeping it short. They nodded, and that's all I needed. There was no fucking time for 'hello's' as the best person in the world could be in pain right now. God the thought of her being raped right now made me nauseous. Even though I knew it was a huge possibility.

"And you're the Shadow?" One of the guys said in a gruff voice and I nodded distractedly. For fucked sake we had to go now. Before Steel could hurt Kelly even more. I wouldn't. I couldn't. Let that happen.
