Hello, my real name is Sloan! I am an aspiring psychologist, majoring in the field of psychology as a freshman in college. I have done a few courses on Coursea on the topic of psychology so thankfully, I already have a bit of knowledge. I personally suffer mentally, so I enjoy delving into the depths of the mind and what's going on there. I know a bit about mental illnesses themself, as I suffer from quite a few myself. Never will I have a character that has a mental illness I am uneducated on. Likely, if you see my character has a mental illness, it's because I have knowledge on the disorder, or I suffer from it myself, so I've got quite the understanding.

Other than that, I think you will find that i ebook writing, as my characters have pretty long descriptions, when I'm feeling motivated enough to put the energy in, they're lengthy. If you want to know about my hobbies, I would say I enjoy, photography, reading, writing, psychology, spending time with my friends, smoking cannabis (medicinally, I have a medical card), and even finding myself studying hobbies mycology, as I'm interested in the idea of psilocybin therapy. I believe in natural alternatives, not medication. When I was taking medication, I found that it only fucked me up more than assist me in the challenges I face with mental illness. I smoke cannabis to elevate my mood and ease my unwanted emotions. I am studying psychology because I truly think there's better, more natural ways to medicate than medication itself.

Either that, or I'm just a weirdo. I wouldn't say I like these substances all that much, but I do enjoy the relief I am provided by cannabis, even if only temporary. It's better than putting something in my system I'm more likely to become addicted to. Studies do claim that cannabis is more of a dependent substance than addictive, and I can tell you, I'm not addicted. Personally, I think addiction is putting a majority of your money toward that certain substance and doing it for "fun". I won't ramble too much, but if you wanna know more, just throw questions my way, I'm an open mf.
