► Alphas : Alphas are able to impregnate Omegas. Alphas may or may not be dominant. These brutes are very protective and attentive of what's theirs and can be highly aggressive. Alphas have many things that differentiate them from the other types, ranging from physical characteristics, psychological attributes, and physiology. The Alphas typically have an intense musky scent and oftentimes reek of different spices. This scent can sometimes induce heats in omegas or arouse them.
► Betas : Betas may or may no be subordinate to Alphas and may or may not be able to impregnate Omegas; Betas are often presented as having "normal" human anatomy, with none of the special attributes of Alphas or Omegas, or as peacemakers between Alphas and Omegas. Betas are known to have a very weak scent, they have one but their glands do not produce it as heavily as alphas or omegas. Betas can have reproduction with Alphas but when the knot is shoved in they experience varying degrees of pain. Their scent is also calming to omegas and alphas.
► Omegas : Omegas are generally lowest on the hierarchy, Male Omegas are self-lubricating and have the ability to become pregnant as well, sometimes referred to as being bred or mated. Omegas are considered the most fragile of the hierarchy, with frailer bodies and painful presentations. Alpha and Omega lovers may form pair-bonds (often involving mating bites) with a special connection with telepathic or empathetic qualities. In some works paired Alphas may be jealous and possessive of their mate, while the Omega may become highly tied and needy. Omegas may go into heat and need to experience pleasure; this may be the only time Omegas are fertile. The Alpha equivalent is known as a rut. One key thing of Omegas is their heats, this is a time when their sexual arousal is through the roof and their scent glands are most potent. However omegas can function properly while in heat but they can experience irritation, high sexual arousal, labored breathing, high body temps, and secretion of large amounts of slick.
