3rd POV

Over the next few years Amelia was increasingly joining Bucky and Steve almost everyday especially after her dance performances when she came to New York. Staying in Brooklyn for the 6 months for her showcases then heading back to Yorkshire England for 3-4 months, it was a repetitive routine for Mia. But every time she returned to the US, Mia would feel giddy and excited to go see Steve and Bucky finally let lose something her father never usually let her do. It seemed she was slowly growing up with these boys, they were becoming a relevant part of Mias life she treasured.

Mias father had organised her schedules in Britain but here she had somewhat of a choice. But as he had arranged Mia had to complete her routine ever Friday and Saturday religiously when she was in town for the theatre, but as Mia performer she started to notice more and more Buckys shadow appearing in the back watching on clapping at her performances.

The were walking the streets of Brooklyn getting up to mischief one night like they usually did, Buckys attitude would always encouraged cheeky behaviour, like sneaking into the movies. Bucky knew the back entrance lock had been damaged from the giant green dumpsters being slammed against numerous times, so Bucky would always sneak in with Steve after high school, it was only fitting to bring Mia along when she was in town. Steve and Bucky loved the horrors but no matter how scary the scenes became nothing really made Amelia jump, Buckys attempts to flirt and wrap his arm around Amelia would become awkward and unsuccessful.

As they walked through the sidewalk deciding where to go for the night, Amelia asked what they'd get up to while she was away 3 months was a long time to be away.
"I question what you boys get up to while I'm gone, if you ever behaving or regular sway to many girls"
"Buckys the lady charmer, I don't think Girls like the short guy" Steve chuckled
"Oh twinkle toes, you need show confidence every girl loves confidence in a man"
"Oh is that so?" Bucky laughed
"You have way to much Barnes" Amelia giggled flicking at Buckys collar.

It only took a few more few minutes for them to reach a nice dive bar Bucky and Steve loved to drink at always taking Amelia when they had the chance. It seemed the moment they walked in through that door Amelia thought brilliant repetitive drinking games would be a great idea. It didn't take long for a small Steve to start stuttering his words and Bucky to wobble on his seat, Mias words were kind of controlled with occasional hiccups. Yelling and laughing was engulfing the pub, you could barely hear a words any of them were saying to each other but you could see the smiles they kept throwing at each other.

"You can't honestly think sopranos are better then the blues brothers, don't hurt my soul"  Bucky yelled tackling another glass of whiskey burning his throat
"It's called culture Barnes"
"You know I'm gonna give it another go it in this war. Im going to join the arm and help protect this country" steve said slamming down his whiskey glass
"A bit enthusiastic there steve?" Barnes said slapping Steve's back knocking him a bit
"I have to keep up with you" Steve chuckled
"Are you sure that's a good idea, you've lied twice on your enlisting papers. If your not careful they will catch you" Amelia chirped quietly feeling intense frustration.

"There's enough men fighting this war, I don't want you to sacrifice your life. Either of you. You blindly follow men in charge to fight a war that is barely your own" Amelia added
"Buckys already been accepted as started his training why can't I try, I want to fight for my country" Steve said, Mias heart suddenly sake into her chest with pain. She knew his future she knew what awaited him on the front line of Germany, a sudden fear for her friends began to hit her making Amelia realise she couldn't always protect protect them.
"You can't be serious?" What the hell James You said your were only thinking about it" Amelia let out sound long heavily frustration
"Do you worry for me?" Bucky gave a drunk smirk before taking a big gulp of his drink
Mia grabbed the bottle of whiskey taking large sips trying to ignore Buckys words. It'd been very complicated between Bucky and Mia for awhile since there might at the fair.
