Chase x Everest chapter 10

Last time on Chase x Everest:
Skye: HE'S BLEEDING REALLY BAD!
Ryder: Skye, Marshall get him to the hospital ASAP!

Nurse 1: CLEAR THE WAY!
Nurse 2: GET A ROOM AND IV READY!
Chase: Huh?, what's going on here?
Nurse 1: it's okay Chase, you are at the hospital.
Chase: Who's Chase?
Ryder: You mean you don't know who you are?
Chase: I remember seeing a face before getting shot close to my artery, but that's it.
Everest: (in tears) nurse, will he be okay?
Nurse 1: maybe after a few surgeries but-
Nurse 2: but he might not live as long as he is supposed to because of the bullet being close to the artery
Everest: Please do whatever you can to keep him alive for as long as possible.
Nurse 2: We will do the best we can.
Everest: Thank you.
Nurse 1: No problem.
Everest: Ryder, do you think Chase will be okay?
Ryder: I am sure he will be okay.
Skye: We already told you how he pulled through the other incident.
Everest: True, but what if he doesn't pull through? ( starts crying again )
The pups try to calm her down but with no success and and Ryder calls Jake to come pick Everest up.
Jake: on my way Ryder.
Ryder: Everest, Jake is on his way to come get you.
Everest: but Ryder-
Gets interrupted by Ryder
Ryder: no buts.
Everest: but
Ryder: like I said no buts, you need to sleep you can come by with me and the pups tomorrow morning.
Everest: okay Ryder.
1 hour later:
Jake: hi I am here to pick up Everest from the paw patrol from Chase's room.
Front desk person: ID please.
Jake gives his ID to the the front desk person.
Front desk person: your good to go Jake.
Jake: thank you.
Nurse 2: oh you must be Jake.
Jake: I am.
Nurse 2: come with me please.
Jake: ( oh boy I am so in trouble for something )
Nurse 2 takes Jake to the room where Everest is.
Everest: JAKE!
Jake: hey Everest
Everest: he's gone, he's really gone! ( bursts into tears ) and the problem is I'm pregnant.
Jake: OH NO NOT CHASE! and wait, did you say your pregnant?
Everest: yes that is what I said ( Everest said still in tears )
Then they hear the heart monitor start beeping at a drastic rate then it slows down to a straight line.
Everest: NNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Ryder: CHASE! ( Ryder yells as he stood next to Chase who sadly passed away from his injuries before he went into surgery )
Chase: ( before he dies ) Ryder, thank you for being the best owner and friend I have ever had. And tell Everest I love her. ( Chase dies from his wounds after he finished his final sentence )
