Seems a little fishy (Tommy x reader)

"Hello, I'm Y/n. What's your name?"

He looked at your tail, before he started-

"AHHHHHHH"

Screaming...

You grabbed his face , using your webbed hand to shut him up. He struggled in your grasp.

"Shhhh! I won't hurt you, pinky promise." You spoke with a calming tone.

He slowly stopped struggling and looked at your face. He saw patches of your (f/c) scales, and your deep (e/c) eyes. You swear you saw red glow over his face before he looked away.

You slowly let go of him. He sat on the other side of the floating thing, staring at your form.

"What are you?" He asked.

"Oh well, glad you asked, I'm a mer-creature. I'm like half fish? or something like that." You said with a tooth smile.

He spoke again, "you said you wouldn't hurt me right?"

"If I wanted to hurt you I would've done it already stupid!" You put your hands on your hips.

"Oh right." He chuckled awkwardly.

You both sat there in silence. Not knowing what to say under the bright glowing stars. They twinkled now and then, like Christmas lights. The sky was a royal blue, it complimented the yellow stars perfectly. Then the moon. It was like a night light, not bright but gives enough light so you can see. You could see it's round craters, from when it was struck by meteors.

You never got to see the stars that much. They looks so beautiful next to the moon. You looked over to the boy you had just met.

He was staring at you. His baby blue eyes stared into your own. You could see the stars that reflected off them. They were so pretty.

"So.. what's your name?" You asked again.

He snapped out of his gaze, "Tommy. Tommy Minecraft."

"Tommy... that name suits you." You smiled.

"Thank you." He looked down, "I like yours to."

You swam closer to him and asked, "So why are you out this late. In the ocean?"

He straightened up his back, "I just wanted to go fishing! Yeah. I'm fishing.."

You looked at him, knowing he was lying. "Your lost aren't you.."

"No. I'm not lost." He crossed his arms.

"Yep your lost."

You swam to the backside of the floating thing. You pushed it with all your might, using your tail as a turbine, you started to move.

"What are you doing?" Tommy asked.

"I can use my senses to find land. So I'm gonna help you get home!"

"Oh. Right. Haha"

He laughed. His laugh made you smile. He had a nice laugh.

-Time skip-

It had been around an hour, you could sense land becoming closer and closer. Your nerves rose. What if the humans aren't like Tommy? What if they try and eat you?

"Tommy, your humans won't eat me. Right?" You asked quietly.

"I don't think they would like you. They say you guys will eat us, so they hunt them."

You gulped. "Oh.."

You were getting closer to land. The light from buildings windows could be seen. They looked a lot like stars. You could see more floating thingys, with more humans on them.

"Tommy! What if they see me!"

You looked into his eyes. He looked into your, they were scared. He thought and thought until an imaginary light bulb lit up above his head.

"I know! I have a cloak I my bag. It should be long enough to over your tail. It even has a hood!"

You stared at him. " what's a cloak?"

He gave me the 'really' face.

"It's like a blanket. But it can be worn to places."

You nodded not understanding what he said, but went with it.

You ducked your head under the water as you past humans in there floating things. And soon you hit something.

It was land.

Tommy held out his hand.

"What?" You asked.

He sighed. "I have to carry you. Can you swim on land?"

You shook your head and took his hand. It was rough, scars covered them, all different sizes.

He pulled you out of the water and immediately wrapped you up in the cloak. The fabric was soft and warm. Like a underwater volcano.

He picked you up bridal style, your tail hit him in the face.

"Oi, watch it!" He shout whispered to you.

"Sorry" you whispered back.

You gently put your arms around his neck, helping him hold you so you won't fall. Then he started walking. The sand crunched under his feet, leaving a trail of his foot prints behind him.

You got closer to the buildings. The light from fires, lit up the place. People walked around, trying to get back home to their families. The smell of fresh bread, filled the air.

Out of the blue, your stomach growled at you.

"You hungry?" He asked. You nodded.

He sighed. "Alright. I'm going to put you down. Don't move."

He placed you on the hard stone floor. Covering your tail, making sure your weren't seen.

Then he ran off into a building where the smell was coming from.

The next thing you knew was hearing shouting, then Tommy running with a piece of bread in his hands.
