Books climbed up walls and students didn't dare to make a noise as Madam Pince watched them closely. The unmistakable rustle of her robes swept along the floor and the occasional bookcase as her wand was held high, placing books back into the correct places. Despite all that they had seen and heard, the sight of the three Gryffindors in the library was unsettling as nervous eyes stuck to Harry the most. "Ellie, what if you're next?" Su's anxious voice had barely been heard as she struggled to manage a whisper.

"Don't be silly, Harry hardly knows that Ellie exists. And, does he know your blood status?" Black hair shook to disagree and then her anxious brown eyes stopped for a moment.

"Actually, he might. I don't know. We get along though, I think. But, when he touches me it hurts and what if he tries to make it hurt?" Wide eyes watched each other closely, forgetting the gaggle of Hufflepuffs sat in the corner, packing away and escaping from the library as their weary eyes made sure that Harry couldn't see them.

Eliana had taken a moment to think as her quill hovered over Professor Binns' latest essay as she focused on the parchment before her and the book she was borrowing, a large gap was noticed of nearly fifty years. Eliana hadn't mentioned anything from those missing years, so she turned to her friends who couldn't help her. "Sorry, I'm doing that one tonight. I still need to do the extra homework Professor Sinistra set me first." Eliana didn't bother to wait as she began to scan the shelves for something useful. Something Professor Binns had said ran through the back of her mind. The International Warlock Convention of 1289 had covered many pages as many authors seemed to describe what happened within the convention and what led to the convention. What Eliana needed was information about the first fifty years of 1200. Something that far fewer authors seemed to write up about and her dark hair had been tugged on as she tried to recall the exact name of the book Professor Binns had mentioned. Just as Eliana passed the section that Hermione, Harry and Ron found themselves in, her eyes caught sight of a large, well-used book. The title was in gold and she sighed in relief as she heard Binns' voice in the back of her head. 'The Wizarding Mistakes of the 1200s' and immediately the book was all she could see until Harry's voice was heard.

"I'm telling you, the spider or Acromantula as you call it was scared of whatever it is." His words cut short as the three noticed Eliana who had stilled, worried about what exactly would follow if they saw her.

"Sorry, just need a book. Didn't mean to interrupt you or anything." Dark eyes stuck down to the ground as she strode along to the shelf close to Harry, careful not to touch him, as she stretched to reach the large book that was easily one of the largest the library had to offer.

"I can help you if you want me to." Eliana may have grown to be average in height, perhaps even a little taller for her age, but she wasn't particularly strong. Ron's offer though was quickly brushed off as Eliana managed to heave the book to her chest as she shook her head to stop him from trying to help her.

"Thank you though." Just as Eliana had spoken, something appeared in her mind. Harry's words weren't exactly what a second-year should have been mentioning.

"Some light reading before bed?" The book was easily a few thousand pages long, from what Eliana could see, the writing was so small she may have required a magnifying glass to read it and the physical size of the book was easily the size of four books taped side by side.

"This won't even last me until then, I reckon I could have read and summarised the whole thing in ten minutes." The book itself looked like Professor Binns' lessons felt, long, boring and tedious. Before Eliana could sit down to read it though, another book was remembered.

"What's that face all about? You look like you've had an epiphany." Eliana nodded quickly, unsettling her hair as she began to scour the books around them.
