3rd person POV
Marinette was currently sitting in a car heading to WE for the days tour. Yesterday had been fun for her.
She had spent the bays patrol getting to know her mother and aunt's. Harley absolutely loved her vice versa.
They just clicked for some reason. Well she did give birth to her but still not everyone gets along with their parents. Bud and Lou absolutely loved her as well.
Ivy and Marinette bonded their love for plants and the fact they had the power to make them grow and communicate with them.
Selina and Kyle bonded over the fact they had both managed to snag a Wayne. Selina had tried to give Marinette advice on how to keep them but Harley had shut that down immediately.
"She can do that on her own," she huffed giving the feline a glare. "Besides damian and Bruce are two very different people,"
Marinette couldn't help but smile at the memory of the two woman arguing about advice on boys.
"I really don't need help," she had said causing the two woman to freeze snapping their heads towards her direction. "I already know how to handle Damian, I've known him since I was 5 and he was 6," she says eyes sparkling. "And mom don't worry I think it will be awhile before we are ready for that"
Harley had cried happy tears at the word mom. That was the first time Marinette had addresses her in a no formal way that didn't sound like she despised her.
The rest of the night was spent retelling life stories and crying their eyes out and a lot of I'm sories and a few warnings about Gotham here and there.
As the car pulled up at WE Marinette knew she was ready for this day and everything it could possibly throw at her. I mean how the heck could it beat the day before.
.............
She had jinxed it. That had to be the answer for her sudden misfortune. Currently she was seated near a potted plant. Hands tied glaring at the people who were holding her and the rest of the room captive.
Her classmates were huddled up at the other side of the room with random employees at random areas. Jason was being held by one of the henchmen. The rest of her friends suffered the same treatment.
But no that's not what set off the thought of Plagg's bad luck rubbing off of her. It was the fact that the freaking Joker was the head of all of this. Great just great.(joker doesn't know that Jason was Robin/Redhood or any other superhero in this book.)
"Bruce honestly thought you would be safe here in Gotham," the madman cackled as the Bluenette glared at him waiting for him to make one, just one stupid mistake. "Let's see who I want to smile towad," he says surveying the room.
At this moment Marinette was glad Cassandra and Damian were at school and Sandra had stayed at home to take care of business and prepare for tomorrow's training.
"Will it be his oh so precious second oldest son," he grins scares looking a whole lot weirder. Marinette had internally steamed at what the psycho was wearing. Seriously how could that be legal. "Or will it be one of our strange captives," he says looking at their dyed hair. Which was kind of hypocritical considering his poke like a dudty go light on the traffic light. "Or will it be someone from our little audience," he says scanning the crowd before his eyes finally lad on Marinette.
"You oh definitely you," he says hauling up the glaring girl and dragging her to the center of the room. "You remind me of him"
"I'm a freaking girl," she says as she slowly cuts her zip tie without looking suspicious. "Stupid clown"
