Chapter 21: Museum

3rd person POV

"Hey to you too Chloe," she says earning an unimpressed eyebrow raise from the blonde.

"Dupain-Cheng what did you do," she asks once again.

"Find us a place to stay meaning you don't have to listen to the liers stories anymore," she says smiling innocently.

"Really," Julika asks fists pumping in the air earning a few pointed glares from her friends reminding her they were suppose to be mad at Marinette. "Right we're serious," she mumbles causing the bluenette to giggle.

"Fine I might have umm used my skills but isn't it worth it when you see how happy they are,"Marinette asks pointing at Jason and Barbs. Babs had somehow managed to carry Jason in bridal style. Spinning the horrified boy around.

"We're talking about this later, for now let's enjoy the museum while you tell us about where were going to be living.

Today they were touring Gotham museum. Marinette couldn't be more excited going as far as wearing her harley quinn inspired jump suit. White with little splashes of light blue and a deep red from top to bottom. The embroidery of the bodice was deep red and the ends of the legs light blue. She wore a leather jacket on top because she was sensitive to the cold and didn't want to draw any attention to her breast.

The walked into the museum where their idiotic classmates were waiting.

"I got Marinette's jacket," Chloe sing songed causing the group to giggle.

"Hey bring it back," she Marinette said trying to reach for it. She would've too if Luka hadn't grabbed it dangling it at a impossibly high, hard to reach distance for our blueberry making her huff. "Giants," she mumbled under her breath causing the group to laugh.

"Sorry gumdrop but to get it you have to strike a pose with your parents," Kagami says smirking causing a chorus of 'ohhs' to ring out.

"I don't think that's allowed," Marinette says jumping to reach for her jacket one more time before deflating and looking at her brother for help.

"Who is crazy enough to stop the jokers daughter from doing what she wants to do," Jason says grinning earning some whoops.

"Fine," Marinette says heading over to a statue of her parents.

"This is going to be good," Nino says and Babs cheers from behind.

Marinette positions herself in between Harley and joker. Pressing her device which forms a gun. She presses the other one transforming into a giant hammer.

She learns onto the hammer with one hand carrying the gun on the other. She puts on her manical smile on. The group doesn't know whether to be impressed or scarred by how well she fit into the piece of art. You would mistake her for a statue if you were to pass by.

"Oh this is totally going to my Twitter," Chloe says breaking everyone from their train of thoughts as she takes a picture of Marinette. The others follow her lead causing Marinette to somehow giggle without disturbing the pose.

She decided to change it up a bit turning her smile into a deranged laugh. More flashes and videos from a few visitors.

Lila rolls her eyes inwardly fuming at the attention Marinette is getting from being a villains daughter for goodness sake. That gives her an idea.

"Guess the apple really doesn't fall far from the tree," she says smirking. "They really are you family it fits and totally suits you,"

"Thank you," Marinette replies smiling. "These people are themselves and are not afraid to do what they want to do. They are real and do not try to live behind a wall of lies. Like most people. They are living their lives to the fullest when the most dangerous thing is what? Walking slowly with safety scissors in your hands,"

"Woop you go girl," Chloe shouts as the rest the group cackles each holding up a phone clearly recording by now. As Marinette was walking back to the group smoke surrounded the room.

"Riddle me this, riddle me that who feels like playing a game," the riddles voice echoed through the room.

"Marinette take Marinette," Lila shouted pulling the bluenette forward before running off and hidding behind Ivan. Jason growled blood boiling while Marinette raised an eyebrow almost challenging him to make a move.

"Do you think I'm crazy," the riddler asks.

"Umm yeah," Chloe says pointing at him up and down as if saying look at your self.

"She does have a point I mean have you seen your costume only a crazy person would wear that," Marinette says crossing her arms.

"I might be crazy but I do not have a death wish," riddler says rolling his eyes. "And pointing a gun at Harley's and Jokers kid will really get me killed,"

"Dang right," the group says grinning.

"And you've seen what those kids can do and redhood would have my head," riddler continues.

"Wait redhood," Rose asks as Barbra and Marinette glare at Jason.

"Yeah he posted a video stating that the girl was under his protection," one of the goons says.

"If you know what I can do why are you still here," Marinette asks raising an eyebrow.

"Excuse me," he asks.

"You heard me," Marinette says taking a step towards him causing him to take two steps back. "Are you testing me or something, do you doubt my power," she asks taking a step forward at each word cornering him at a wall.

"No I just want to ask my riddles," he says.

"Endangering all these innocent people while doing so," Marinette asks causing him to gulp. "Now here a riddle for you, who's ugly stubby and might get killed if he doesn't scram right now, let me give you a hint it starts with a y and ends with a you."

He immediately takes the chance to run with his tail tucked between his feet. The people immediately start clapping their hands causing Marinette to blush realizing how many people were watching and recording the event. She immediately runs into Jason's open arms.

"Paparazzi," she says pointing at the door where cameras were flashing waiting for her to come out.

"We really have to stop leaving like this," Julika says remembering yesterdays event.

"Jay you have to cover Babs Nino and Luka have got me," Marinette says as the boys cover her running out to the already awaiting limo. The leave behind a livid Lila.
