How Do I Get Him Back?

Chapter 7

      Anthony was at home, taking a shower, trying to get his mind right. He hoped nobody heard what happened or saw him leave. Little did he know, Rachel’s nosey next door neighbor, Ms. Diamond Hudson heard everything and called the police pronto. Ms. Hudson knows everything that goes on in the neighborhood and is always in someone’s business. She gave the police his description, his license plate, and told them what she heard. They went inside Rachel’s home and saw her lifeless body on the floor. They didn’t need any more evidence. They had a witness, fingerprints and also saw bruises on Rachel’s neck. He had to tell Amina everything and the perfect timing was when she got off work. The minute that thought came across his mind, he heard her coming in the door. “Omg Anthony, I have some news”, she said with so much excitement. “I do too but you first”, he said to her. “We’re about to have--”, she started. Before she was able to finish, the cops came busting in their house. “Anthony Love, you are under arrest for the murder of Rachel Young”, one of the officers said. “Anthony, who the fuck is Rachel? What did you do?”, Amina asked. Anthony couldn’t explain right now. He was being taken away. “Anthony! Answer me! This is what you’re going to do to our baby? I’m pregnant!”, she yelled. She couldn’t believe it. Her man was going to jail for murder. 

      2 years later, Amina and Anthony’s baby was growing. Her name was Cheyenne Anastasia Love, named after her daddy. Anthony was given 9 years. Amina and Cheyenne would go visit him every other day just so Cheyenne could know who her father was and what he looked like. Amina still wanted to know exactly what happened. She had questions that were unanswered. “Anthony, what happened? I need you to tell me everything”, she said to him. “Amina, you might hate me after this”, he said. “Anthony, just tell me”, she told him. “Okay, so Rachel? I met her and started talking to her after I told you I needed space. We were having sex and chilling when I wasn’t around you”, he started. As she was listening , her eyes started watering. Her heart was truly shattered. “Then like the day you had your announcement, she also told me that she was born a man. I  couldn’t control my anger so I choked her, Amina. I was so angry”, he told her. Looking at how hurt Amina was, he assumed that she was going to leave him. “Anthony, you slept with a man? Seriously? You know how that makes you look? Fuck that, you know how that makes ME look? You are gay! You have no morals! You don’t love me! You’re a liar! After today, I don’t know you! Don’t call me or MY daughter! Leave us alone! You will never see her again!”, she yelled. “Amina, I’m sorry!” was all Anthony could possibly say. “Fuck you and your sorry! I have no sympathy for you. I hate you”, was the last thing Amina said to Anthony. She stormed off hurt and angry. After her last visit, Amina never saw or spoke to Anthony again! Anthony never was able to see his daughter grow up! Amina aso moved on 1 year later with a young man by the name of Peter Armstrong. 3 years later, they got married.
