Third person's pov.

Taehyung and Jeongguk's relationship, to say the least, was comfortable.

The two having known each other since diapers, found it relatively easier to fall into a relationship and continue it for eight years; starting from sixteen to the age of twenty-four.

They were comfortable. Maybe a bit too much that they started seeing the relationship as a duty, a responsibility.

Getting home from work, kissing a bit, cooking, heading to bed and sleeping. The same routine, every single day. It got tiring for the two; following a schedule for a relationship.

And soon, they got tired of each other.

Both felt it. Knew it. That their relationship had ran its course.

They had been so indulged in just showing people they were still together, that they forgot the thrill of actually being together.

No one brought it up. They kept going. Falling in the cycle of weariness.

But it had to come up one way or another.

And it did. In the worst way possible.

Work was exhausting for the two. Taehyung having a 9 to 5 job with the toughest boss and Jeongguk being a freelance makeup artist.

While Taehyung's efforts were in the 200 clients, Jeongguk's were in perfecting the 20 he got.

Unfortunately, work had to get them both on the worst of times and all they wanted was to break the cycle and free themselves of the burden of the relationship.

So they took it out on each other.

"I'm so fucking tired of this, Jeongguk. Why can't you ever fucking cook and keep it ready for me?!" Taehyung had screamed and Jeongguk?

Oh, he was livid.

"Am I supposed to be at your beck and call?! I have my own damn work and I have to fucking advertise myself for clients every single fucking day!" He barked back.

"I'm tired of this."
"So am I!"

"Fine then! I'm leaving!"
"Fine with me!"

Jeongguk clenched his jaw, grabbing his coat and slamming the door open.

"You're a selfish bastard. You never fucking think of me." No, baby, I'm so grateful for you for always looking out for me. I don't know what I'm saying.

"And you're fucking absorbed in your work. You don't have a boss breathing down your neck. You have it easy!" I know how hard you work, baby. Please don't listen to me, I'm so fucking proud of you.

A door slam was heard and the cycle was broken.

Just like their relationship.
