My body ache in pain taking in a breath hurts. As I opened my eyes my vision was a blur at First Till it cleared  Looking around my room legt odd, it was just a dream. Only a dream I'm sure of it.

"Pumpkin? " mom's voice whispered gently from behind the door

" come in.." my shaking voice was somewhat loud even for her to hear. She entered my room with a tray of breakfast she smiled warmly as she sat it in the bed

" How are you feeling today pumpkin?" She sat beside me, having her hand rub up and down slowly on my back

" a little better.." she handed me the glass of water since she noticed with how I spoke that my mouth was really dry.

" I've called the school and the principal so he made a packet with the rest of the week's homework in it? " she said soothingly

" thank you mom..." I pulled her into a tight hug

" But when you have the time, make sure it gets finished or ask us for help okay?"

" Now I finished your breakfast while I cleaned around the house " she kissed the top of my head, then existed my room

" you dumb bitch are you even listening?" Brandon rolled their eyes as we sat together at lunch
