I had been shaky all day, nerves or excitement I didn’t know but whatever it was I had been jumpy all day since Cole told me to meet him after school. I didn’t know what to say, how to explain or anything but I had to let it out. So here I am waiting by the school gates for the schools alleged bad boy and watching bundles of teens rush out of school.
“Ariel” a husky voice spoke. I jumped at the sound of the voice as I momentarily forgot what was happening.
“ Heyy” I replied casually. He gave me a smile before cautiously turning round and seeing who was around us and if they were within hearing distance. “Do you want me to tell you Know?” I asked.
He shook his head slowly whist biting his lip. “Not here.” He mumbled out.
“Where then?” There weren’t many places to go that were within walking distance and I honestly didn’t feel like travelling anywhere far, even with him.
“Not far” he said voicing my thoughts. “My house?” he asked. I pondered for a moment. Did I want to go, I didn’t know him at all and for all I know he could be taking me to my death. I laughed at my stupidity, whilst I got a weird look from Cole. “I texted Noah and he said he’d meet us their which would give you time to attempt to compromise with him.” He finished, trying to persuade me to go.
I nodded firmly. “Okay I’ll go”.
I don’t know what I was expecting when I arrived to his house but It wasn’t this. Fooled by his motorcycle, my lack of knowledge of them and his display of tattoo’s and piercings this was the last thing I expected.
“ Cole Carter” he said in a robot voice into the security buzzer outside his grand gates to let us in. “Your r I c h ?” I choked out. I couldn’t believe it , Cole carter the schools very own ‘ Bad Boy’ was currently typing in his security code for his own house. Bricks circled the property and pink roses were planted rimming around the edge. It was everything he wasn’t. I couldn’t help but laugh.
“I’m not rich ….. my parents are” He said in true rich boy fashion. Aww is he blushing,
I snorted loudly “ Uhuh, typical rich boy answer. If your parents are rich than you are. Duhh” I said informing him. He turned to look at me his green eyes piercing mine.
“Whatever you say princess” It was my turn to blush. Momentarily blinded I changed the subject. “ Wait does that means Noah’s rich too” I almost yelled. This was too funny I always had them pegged down as something else.
“Ariel just because I have tattoos and motorcycle doesn’t mean I live in the streets” He said highly amused.
“ I I um , I didn’t mean it like that” I mumbled out embarrassed. He just laughed and from behind him the gates slowly opened, he gestured for me to follow so I did jumping of his matte black motorbike and pushing it through the grand gates to reveal more of his newly exposed life.
