The journey has lasted for about two days now, and Link has made progress. She has made it through with little things to do, little water and food, and little rest. About 12 hours into the third day, Link came to a very large, tall, and suspicious tower. Link thought this tower could be of use to her, so she went in. Inside was a huge staircase, and a small bedside table, and it had a pot with a white tulip in it. Link went up the stairs, and found a cage with a green-suited man in it. Link thought this was very strange, but she went ahead and let the man free. The man thanked Link, and introduced himself. His name was Tingle. He gave her a bottle with a firefly in it, he said the firefly's name was Navi. Tingle also said that Navi would be Link's protector. She had no idea what that meant, but she nodded, as a sign of thanks, and left. She put Navi in her satchel with her food, jewels, etc. Link had a feeling that Tingle wasn't an average prisoner, but a distant friend, even though they have never met before. Maybe Tingle was the one who sent Link the sword and the quest? Only time will tell. For know, Link's priorities are Ganondorf and Zelda. Hopefully she would meet Tingle again, because he felt special, different, unique? All Link knew was that that man would have small impact on her journey.
