chapter 2-our loss

(f/n) pov~

I was nine and zack was one years old.mommy and daddy were in the car zack in his baby seat.daddy was driving mommy was talking to eren on the phone.we were on the highway.

" i wonder why that car is swerving"

"mommy why is that car swerving like that" "what ca-"she never finished

Bang, screeeeeeechy i opened my eyes to see zack crying and everything is upside down"mommy daddy ate you ok,mommy daddy,hey wake up"i cry out to them while I was unbuckling zack's seat belt.i had  zack in my arms and shaking my mom and dad.after you finally climb into the front seat. Everything starts to move in slow motion as you sod "m-mommy and da-daddy please wake up please i love you can you wake up please"

Next thing you know firefighters and police officers were pulling me out of the car"NO PUT ME DOWN,PUT ME DOWN LEAVE ME ALONE,MY MOM AND DAD ARE STILL IN -" your eyes opened to see Eren and Zack sitting next to you with a sharp pain in the back of your shoulder."same nightmare" eren asked you nod"eren where am I" he didn't answer instead he asked" do you remember anything like what happened"

As I look at him I start to sob the first time I even shed a tear in five years"eren where is s-sam"eren hug me and zack started to cry"(f/n) I'm sorry he's gone and your in a hospital"the words I never thought I would hear except on a battlefield.

As you try and stand you feel a little dizzy"don't stand you got stitches in your back of the shoulder"eren tells me

"i'm fine I just want to go home" as I picked up zack and started to walk out the hospital room with Eren following

~time skip~

We got home thanks to Eren giving us a ride.You told Zack to get in the shower as you went up stairs

You live in a two story house that has a total of 4 bedrooms 1 office room kitchen and a really big living room and 3 bathrooms .as you got upstairs and the memories of Sam start to flood back.I picked up the phone to call my big brother who was 21. he pays for the house since we're here Florida. While my job helps pay for the food we need.

I've got the voice message machine only because James( my older brother)is on a base in Pennsylvania

" James listen two guys broke into our house I got stabbed, Sam's gone and I really need to talk to somebody" I start to choke up." they were in Russian uniforms and they said that they'll be back in Russian" I paused"I have to go zack about to get out the shower I love you" I hung up.

I went to the spot where I blacked out there wasn't  nothing left no blood,no stain,no nothing.

" I guess eren cleaned it up" I thought and sigh and went go take a shower.

when I walked into my room I saw a jar.eren said that they cremated him so I guess those were his ashes.I try to put it up on a shelf,when I realized there was something at the bottom of the jar.I pulled it off and looked at it.it what's Sam's dog tag. everyone got one in our Special Ops squad.including me we got a new one every year.

I got dressed and climbed into bed when Zack came in and asked to sleep with me "sure" he ran over and climb in my bed "good night"i said and kissed forehead

~time skip~( the weekend's over)

Went to school really upset I didn't talk to anybody not even ashlyn. the only person that you actually talked to was jean a friend who wasn't like normal people he was different. he hated acting like a normal person he like to be weird and different. but you really didn't say much to him all you did was tell me about Sam.

Him and eren only knows a little bit about your Special Ops life.i taught jean a little self defense.but you only see and during third period(math)i sat in the back of the room with him trying to comfort me.but you pretty much ignored him because you were to focus too much on the pain the back of your shoulder.before coming here a kid push me into a wall by accident so the stitches reopen.

When you hear a knock at the door,a captain walk through the door.you jumped up to salute him along with Jean.

"(f/n) (l/n)" the captain said. wearing his blue uniform and blue hat which hid a lot of his white hair.he walks over to you and me" YES SIR HERE SIR" you respond as he pulls your dog tag out of your shirt along with the dog tag that Sam had that you added to my chain.
