Chapter Two

Thirteen Years Later..All the VKS were adopted. Jay was adopted by Aladdin and Jasmine, Carlos was adopted by Anita and Roger Radcliffe, Evie was taken in by Snow White and Mal was adopted by Aurora and Phillip.

Mal woke up in her and Audrey's Room with her side being green and purple and Audrey's side being Pink and Blue, her family's colors. For some odd reason, Mal always liked Purple and Green. Mal did attend Auradon Prep but didn't stay in a dorm but rathered stayed in the Castle with Aurora, Phillip, Queen Leah, King Stefan, Briar Rose, Aurora's Sister, and her daughter Arianna.

Mal never really got along with her adoptive Aunt Briar and her cousin Arianna. They were of the belief that it was a bad Idea to bring the VKS over to the isle at all, so Arianna was passive aggressive to Mal most of the time but forced a fake smile for her, same with her mother. Mal and Leah weren't very fond of each other either and All three of them insisted Mal would be a danger to the family and that they needed to send her away. Regardless, Aurora and Phillip stood their ground and Audrey never stopped loving her sister, even though she was Maleficent's daughter (although the VKS overtime forgot about where they came from)

Audrey started waking up, abit a few minutes later when Mal was already dressed and ready. "(yahn)....wait...what time is it?" Audrey asked. "Uh...8:30?" Mal responded. Audrey jumped up and started hurrying. "Oh my gosh! We're gonna be late and its all my fault!" Audrey said as she pulled on a pair of hot pink jeans and a pink tanktop with a rose on it. Mal was wearing a pastel purple skirt with green leggings and Green boots. "Stop worrying Audrey, Your not gonna get us late. We need to be at the school..around 9:10 so we have time.." Mal said reassuring her slightly older sister. Mal just turned sixteen and she was like a month younger then Audrey.

"Audrey! Mal! Are you guys ready yet?!" Arianna asked annoyed. "Just a minute Arianna!" Audrey shouted back as she was brushing her hair. "Here let me help you.." Mal offered as she took the brush and started brushing Mal's hair while Audrey put on her makeup.

"Is this enough make up? Is this too much? Is this not enough?! Is my hair a mess?!" Audrey asked very panicked. "No! You look beautiful. Why are you all worried about your appearance now when you weren't before?" Mal asked. "I have a crush on Chad and...I just wanna look good around him." Audrey replied "How long have you been having this crush? I mean I don't blame you, Chad's pretty attractive and hot." Mal said smirking.

"How long have you been having a crush on Ben?" Audrey said smirking. Mal started blushing a bit. "What?! I-I don't have a crush on him!" Mal said. "Well...I mean..I seen you have the googlie eyes for him during Chemistry so.." Audrey said giggling. "Aright Aright! I May have a slight crush on him! But in my opinion, you don't need some sort of prince to be happy. Your absolutely amazing on hour own."Mal said

"Whats sucks is that he's dating Arianna. God, I hate her with every fiber of my being." Audrey commented. "Yeah..Shes also super clingy and obsessed with Chad. You'd be a much better girlfriend. Like seriously, Your Aunt and Uncle Spoiled her to no end and passed down a dehumanizing mentality towards Isle kids like us." Mal replied. "Yeah..I just hate that."

Thats when there was a knock on the bedroom door. "HURRY UP SLOW POKES!!!!" Arianna shouted. "OH MY GOD WILL YOU BE PATIENT?!" Audrey shouted back. The two finally finished getting ready and walked downstairs. "It took you long enough." Arianna said. She had curly brown hair, blue eyes and pale skin. She wore a pink rose pattern dress and pink high heels and a flower headband with rose bracelets and necklace. She is one of the very few kids in Auradon who was not happy about the VKS being in Auradon.

"Heading off soon?" Aurora asked. "Yeah. We don't wanna be late." Mal said. "Okay. Your father and I might not be home by the time you get out of school because we'll be at work." Aurora and Phillip are still King and Queen of Auroica but they also run a candle caterlog and are apart of the schools PTA with pride. They are also close allies with Belle and beast and Ben and Audrey have practically grown up with each other because they seen each other so much. "Okay! Bye Mom!" The two girls said before leaving the castle and heading to school.
