The Next Day Rolled around and Mal and Audrey were walking down the hallway and went to their lockers. Mal was still visibly shaken by her nightmare that occurred the night before.
"Mal, Are you okay? Last night was..pretty intense." Audrey said
"I-Im fine now. It was just a nightmare."
"A Pretty bad One." Audrey Added.
"Yeah." Mal sighed
"If you don't mind you could tell me about the dream. If you don't wanna thats perfectly fine." Audrey replied
"I...I gave a pretty accurate description last night, tall horns, black and purple clothing...we were also in this dark castle..there were goblins everywhere-"
Mal was rudely interrupted by Arianna stomping towards her angrily
"Mal I do not appreciate you keeping me awake the whole night. I want a apology." Arianna growled
"Wow Arianna..I knew you were selfish and arrogant but I never thought you could stoop this low." Audrey said scoffing
"You all need to stop disrespecting my good name. I am a princess of the Royal Auroica family and it's time for you to treat me with some dignity Audrey instead for this purple haired witch!"
"Arianna what did I ever do to you to make you hate me so much?" Mal asked
"You merely existed. Why do you have to make my life so difficult!!! All you have to do is be a proper princess!!" Arianna screeched as she stompt away.
"Wow she still hates me after all these years." Mal said quietly.
"I know...I'm sorry." Audrey apologized
"It's fine. I'm used to it." Mal said.
"I think you should talk to Mom and Dad about your..dream. Because yeah that sounds intense." Audrey said
"Yeah." Mal replied before her hands started to shake and glow green.
"Mal?! Are you okay?!" Audrey asked freaked out.
Mal finally got her hands to stop glowing and shaking and hid them.
"I'm fine Audrey. I really am." Mal said before rushing into the school and to her locker. Her hands started glowing and shaking again out of her control. This has never happened to Mal ever. Evie, Carlos and Jay all rushed to Mal.
"Mal what's going on?! I had a dream about this man in dark clothing and a tall hat before my entire body glowed red and I turn into a large snake without control over it!!" Jay said
"And my hair is starting to fade blueish on its own!" Evie said turning and showing her brown hair turning blue.
"Same with my hair." Carlos said showing his hair turning white with black roots.
"Is my hair changing?" Mal asked.
"Yeah it is. It's turning purple." Carlos said
"My hands have been glowing and shaking this morning and I don't know why or how to control it." Mal explained.
"Do you guys think this has anything to do with our birth parents? I tried to ask Snow but Grumpy said she went to a important heroes meeting. Maybe it's about us." Evie said looking at her friends.
"I just hope this isn't gonna lead to anything bad happening." Mal said.
"Hey why don't we go see Fairy Godmother? Surely she'll have a answer for all this." Carlos suggested.
"That seems like the best bet." Mal said.
The four of them walked down the hallway and entered Fairy Godmother's office.
"Hello Children. What's the matter?" Fairy Godmother asked.
Mal explained to Fairy Godmother what's been going on with her as well as her friends. Fairy Godmother looked horrified.
"Oh goodness! This sounds serious! I will need to test you all." Fairy Godmother said pulling out her magic wand. Normally she doesn't use it but she still keeps it for emergencies.
"Okay I'm gonna do a tiny little test on all of you. Don't worry it won't hurt. I promise." Fairy Godmother said. The four looked at each other and nodded. Fairy Godmother lightly tested Mal, Evie, Jay and Carlos with magic from her wand and then looked at the results shocked and horrified.
"So what is it?" Carlos asked
"Nothing. I'll reveal the results later. Go back to class please." Fairy Godmother said. The four silently exited the office. As soon as they left Fairy Godmother closed and locked the door.
Later that night Anita and Roger rushed home after hearing from Fairy Godmother.
"Oh my god Carlos!!! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?!" Anita asked petrified hugging her son close.
"I'm okay Mom I really am." Carlos said
"Fairy Godmother told us the results and we rushed back as soon as possible." Roger said.
"Fairy Godmother didn't tell us the results but she told you guys? Also what about your convention?" Carlos asked
"There's a reason for that. We talked with our bosses and they were understanding. Plus it was ending early anyways due to scheduling conflicts." Anita Said
"Guys I'm tired of being lied to and not told the truth! Who are my birth parents?!" Carlos asked bluntly.
"Do we really want you to know?! Or is it gonna come smack us across the face later?" Rachel said in a snarky tone. It's been years and Rachel and Carlos never got along. Rachel knew who Carlos's mother was and held that against him without explicitly saying who his mother is ever since Anita and Roger told her which they since regretted.
"Rachel Radcliffe!!!" Anita shouted
"Sorry for speaking the truth!!" Rachel shouted back.
"Why?!! Why do you hate me so much?!! What did I ever do to you?!" Carlos shouted at Rachel.
"Everything." Rachel said coldly before grabbing her bag and storming out of the house. Anita looked exhausted and didn't wanna deal with this and Roger looked the same.
"And where do you think your going?" Roger said while sitting down rubbing his fingers across his side irritated by everything.
"Going over to Ariannas for a sleepover and a escape from being victimized." Rachel said. Carlos's jaw dropped.
"Really? It's a school night!" Anita said
"I'd rather stay with a fairy then a puppy skinner." Rachel growled.
"Hey hey hey!!!" Roger shouted.
"At this point dad it's either him or me!! You spent so much time with him and neglected me. It's time for you to pick." Rachel growled before slamming the door behind her.
