When Voyager was lost in the Delta Quadrant, I thought a great deal that I held as valuable was lost to me.
That is not so.
Being thrown seventy thousand light-years from everything I knew caused me to reconsider my life, my decisions. I also found new friends, something to live for, and even what it really means to fall in love.
This is the record of the incident that was kept out of the ship's logs all those years ago, for certain purposes I will not tell you at this moment. Now that we are home once again, I do not think it will matter if I tell you about this story, for stories are the lifeblood of our existence. We learn from them, are entertained by them, they teach us other's wisdom.
Now, come gather around, and I will embark on the forgotten episode of our voyage.
