The next thing he knew the smell of wheat was filling his senses. He opened his eyes to a field bathed in a golden wash. The feeling of tall grass grazed his palm as he dragged his hand along the top of the wheat field.

"George!" He heard a familiar voice yell his name, Quackity.
"Get out of that stupid grass and help me defend Beckerson." Another familiar voice said, Sapnap.
George felt a comforting hand land on his shoulder making him face the person who came up beside him.
"You ok Georgie?" Dream said.
Dream
He was wearing that all too familiar bright green hoodie, his mask was in his other hand.
"Yeah, I'm ok." He breathed, a warm smile blooming on his face as he looked at Dream's unmasked face. The taller returned the smile.

Dream and George headed towards their friends, wading through the field.
"George! Karl and Quackity are trying to steal Beckerson so they can cook him up and eat him, you need to help meee." Sapnap whined leaning his full weight on to George's side, making him stumble into Dream.

"Ugh, your so dramatic." George said while pushing Sapnap off of him.
"That's not true! We just wanted to take him on a walk." Karl stated.
"You can't take fish on walks, idiot." Sapnap responded.

George giggled when he saw the utterly confused looks on both Quackity and Karl's faces.
"I don't believe you." Quackity said with all the conviction one could muster.
The three went back and forth debating whether fish could go on walks or not, and by the time they where done it was sun down.

George looked around to find that Dream wasn't there. "Hey, when did Dream leave?" George asked.
"I dunno, why don't you go look for him lover boy." Sapnap teased.
"Stop it." George turned so his friends couldn't see his face start to heat up.
"Oh, is someone blushing?" Karl giggled.
"Georgie, oh Georgie, wherefore art thou Georgie." Quackity quoted trying to do his best impression of Dream.
"Whatever." George walked off to go find Dream as he heard his friends laugh behind him.

________________

The first place George had in mind to go check was the bench. It was already sun down so it made the most sense. And sure enough when he got there he could seed a hooded figure holding something in his lap.

Hearing George's footsteps, Dream stood up and turned towards him, hiding whatever it was he had.
"Hey." Dream greeted.
His mask was shifted slightly to the side of his head mussing his hair a bit.
"Hey, watcha got there?" George came up to him and tried to peer behind the other.
"Ah ah ah, not yet. You gotta guess first." Dream said, turning in his body in time so George wouldn't be able to see it.

"Hmm, lets see. Is it... a dog?" George joked.
Dream laughed "No, try again."
"Lemme guess, another blue flower?" George said with a smirk.
"Nope!"
"Then what is it?"
Dream moved his hands in a quick motion, going up to the top of George's head to place something and immediately moving them back behind him.

George moved his hands up to grab whatever Dream had placed on his head. Removing it from his dark brown hair and holding it infront of his face. It was a flower crown made of the blue flowers that reminded Dream of him.

"Put it back on." Dream said.
"Ok, ok." George said fondly.
The way Dream was looking at him made his face heat up. The gentleness and love that filled his eyes made George's heart feel full. He could stand here all night staring into his eyes.

Dream lifted his hand to rest against the shorters cheek. They both started getting closer to eachother, not breaking eye contact. But as soon as George closed his eyes he felt the comforting hand turn to dirt against his face.

_______________

When George opened his eyes he was surrounded by the blue flowers again. He de-tangled himself from the roots that consume him everytime he comes back to reality. He lifted his hand to the side of his face. He could still feel the warmth.

George lowered his hand and looked at his surroundings. It was about mid-day now and the clouds have darkened since morning. It might rain soon.

George walked over to the double chest he kept right outside the flower field. He opened up the chest and grabbed a 213 cm parasol mushroom he used on rainy days. When he made this it wasn't a conscious decision. He slept for about 3 months and when he woke up it was there and it was the perfect size for an umbrella.

A droplet of rain landed on George's face. Lifting the parasol up and resting it on his shoulder, he started making his way towards the main part of Kinoko in search of something to keep him busy.
