There was a heavy silence as Byakuya stared at Makoto in disbelief while Kyoko put her head down.

"What do you mean you don't want to get married?" Byakuya said finally to Makoto. "I thought you love Kirgiri? Why are you not jumping at this chance and get a house that will fix all of your problems?"

"Because I don't want to get married right now," Makoto replied as he began to rub his forehead.

"Oh, you've changed your tune to not right now, huh?" Byakuya said, annoyed. "Honestly, the things I do for you, Naegi and this is the thanks I get!"

Makoto's eyes latched to Byakuya, and he glares at the latter. "You just don't get it, do you!" Makoto threw the paperwork at Byakuya, and he quickly left Byakuya's dorm room.

Byakuya stood there fuming. "How dare he!"

"Togami, calm down," Kyoko said.

"How? That man of yours is selfish!"

"Yes, he might be selfish, but if I know Makoto as well as I think I do, then I know the real reason why he doesn't want to get married."

"Too soon?" Byakuya replied.

"That may be one of Makoto's concerns, but no, I do believe Makoto wants to give me the best wedding day possible. He will probably want to make everything up to me on that one day."

"Make everything up to you?" Byakuya said, confused. "Has he been treating you poorly?"

Kyoko raised her head to look at Byakuya. "No, Makoto has been blaming himself for ruining my life, but I'm guilty as him for ruining his." Kyoko began to shake her head. "Getting married at this age is far too soon. But what choice do we have?"

"Not many," Byakuya replied as he began to pick up the paperwork from the floor. "Listen, Kirigiri. I'm sorry for putting you and Naegi into this position. My hands are a tie. If you need to be married to get this house, then it has to be."

Kyoko looked at Byakuya oddly. "Did you say sorry to me there?"

"Don't mistake it for kindness," Byakuya said, standing up. "I'm just stating the facts... Plus, I'm aware of the health of babies during the pregnancy-"

"You care, but don't worry, I won't tell anyone," Kyoko said with a slight grin. "We can't have your reputation of being a jerk being not true, can we?"

Byakuya quickly took the photo's from Kyoko's hand in a huff, and he began to put everything back into the folder.

"Togami, let me deal with Makoto. I think he will come around."

"Ha! Naegi is one of the most stubborn men I've ever met," Byakuya said, turning around and facing Kyoko with his arms folded. "You know, for a guy who is kind and thoughtful. He is bloody stubborn."

"I know, but I will find a way to change his mind," Kyoko replied.

"Why do you suggest to him that you two can have a mock wedding day, maybe a year down the line of something."

"A mock wedding day?" Kyoko said.

"Yes, let's say you two get married next week, right. So then you two can begin to save up for a fake wedding day. But make it as real as possible."

"Hmm, that's not a bad idea," Kyoko said, folding her arms. "Get married, then have a wedding day next year or whenever it may be. Yes, I think that might work. Togami, I have one question."

"Go on?"

"The house, can Naegi and I see it? In-person, I mean."

"You two may."
