Y/n Carter's Backstory

Y/n carter (you) is Sharon carter's sister. You guys started S.H.E.I.L.D together but you wanted more. You have no powers yet but that doesn't mean your weak! Your were known as the strongest, most dangerous S.H.E.I.L.D agent before you became an avenger. Let's go back to 3 years ago...
Three years ago
" y/n hurry up you're gonna make us late! AGAIN! " Sharon shouted upstairs while waiting by the door.
"Okay, okay, okay!" You say running downstairs.
You grab your car keys and drive you and Sharon to S.H.E.I.L.D. Headquarters. Once you arrive, you walk into fury's office not realising that he was in a meeting.
"Sorry Nick, I didn't mean to interrupt you. I'll come back later!"
"No its fine they were just leaving." Fury replied.
Three tall men start to walk towards the door as one of them looked back at Fury saying "This is not over!"
They shove past you and leave the building.
"What was up with them?"
"Oh they were bugging me about the avengers"
"What about them?" You questioned.
"They wanted to get them at some event tonight but they were suspiciously eager to get them there so i turned them down."
"Oh shit, okay um while were on the subject of the avengers, i have a question."
"What is it?"
"I feel like I'm being held back here and i get that there isn't much you can do but i was wonderi- "
"I'll think of something okay" Fury said interrupting your sentence.
"Thank you so much Nick."
"It's fine but never call me that again!"
"Copy that" you said giggling
You walk out and go to the training room and start training.

Tony's pov.
So... there's something we didn't tell Fury. Steve went to help his friend Bucky or at least i think that's his name, but anyway he found Bucky but they both went missing. Now what happened was someone ,who hates Bucky for some reason, took Steve and Bucky. The reason we didn't tell Fury was because we knew we would get a load of shit from him. So we have a plan to get them back. We found where they were and we go in about an hour so I guess we'll just see how that goes.
An hour later..
"Suit up we have to leave now!" I screamed at them all because we were running out of time.
"Calm down stark we're all ready!" Nat screamed back. We get there and we are all in positions so we move closer. Suddenly, i feel someone kick the back of my suit. I very quickly turn around and see someone going to throw a punch. I bast them back and exclaim " NOW!" To the rest of them. Everyone starts attacking as banner starts to turn into the big green side of him. He starts smashing everything into pieces. I hear Nat and Clint scream. I fly over to them and see Clint holding Nat as she's screaming in pain. "What happened here?!"
"Nat got shot if we don't get her back now she'll die Tony!"
" shit! Bring her back. me hulk and Thor will get Bucky and Steve"
"On it stark." He took Nat back to the vehicle and drove her back avoiding the bullets fling at them.

Your POV
Fury comes rushing in with a beeping device. "What's that?" You asked.
"It tells me what's happening and where. They are in danger and seriously outnumbered. They wont survive if you don't go NOW!"
"Who's in danger I'm confused."
" STARK, THOR, HULK! NOW GO ILL SEND YOU THE COORDINATES GO!!"
"Damn okay I'll suit up"
You suit up and look at the coordinates as you run out the building. You arrive and one by one defeat the guards. You spot Steve and cautiously walked towards the cell. You unlock it but just when they walk out the cell, someone came up behind you and stabbed your right shoulder. "FUCK!!" You shouted in pain.
Bucky and Steve start to fight the guy who stabbed you while you rip off your sleeve and use it to tie around the wound. You three try find your way out and when you do you see Thor and hulk. Tony walks up behind you all and asks " who the fuck are you?"
"LANGUAGE" Steve replied.
"Shut up i saved your ass."
" actually she did." Bucky interfered.
Bucky walks up to you and says " so does our hero have a name by any chance."
" y/n. Y/n Carter."
"As in..." Steve said.
"Yeah your girlfriends sister."
"But.. she never told me she had a sister?"
"Well now you know dumbass."
" i like this one." Bucky laughs out.
"Thank you Mr. Barnes"
" Bucky. Call me Bucky."
" okay Bucky." You smiled and you all went back to S.H.E.I.L.D headquarters. "Oh my god y/n your okay!" Sharon runs over to you and hugs you. " ow shit" Sharon backed away with a confused look on her face before she realised you got stabbed by seeing the blood soaking through the fabric. "What were you thinking?!" Fury says in a pissed off way towards the avengers. They explained and a few hours later Fury was finished shouting at them all. You're surprised he can still talk after that. Steve walks up to you and says " Y/n welcome to the team."
"wha-"
"You wanted more this is it. Your now an avenger." Fury tells you. And that's how your became an avenger.

Over the next few years you and Bucky got really close as friends and you finally felt like you belong there...
