Chapter 83 Mason Alonso Novoa

Emma P.O.V

Me and Jax stepped out of the car.By the time we got to the front doors of the orphanage Jax locked the car.We stepped in and we saw children everywhere playing around.

"Hello.My name is Corrine.Are you looking for any specific kids to adopt?" Corrine asked.

"A boy around five years old." I said awfully quickly.

Corrine looked surprised while Jax just looked down.He has been quiet for a few months ever since my incident with Daniel.I haven't talked to Daniel since.

"Well we just have one and his name is Mason.Would you want me to get him?" Corrine asked.

"Yes please." I said.

Corrine went upstairs and five minutes she came back with a little boy around five.

"Hello!" I bend down and wave to the little boy in front of me.

He giggled.He seemed like a cute little boy.

"I would like him." I said standing up.

"Okay just follow me and sign these papers." Corrine said walking towards a desk.Me and Jax sat in each one of the chairs.Ethan took a seat in the middle. 

"Okay Miss Alonso please sign here." Corrine pointed on the paper.

"Okay now Mr Novoa sign here." Corrine pointed at a different spot.

When Jax was about to write his signature his hand kept shaking. Is he nervous?

Jax P.O.V

My hand kept shaking and it was also very sweaty.If Emma adopts a child how will I break up with her?That makes it even harder.I quickly signed the paper to be done with it.

"Okay." Corrine just awkwardly.

"Mason can just go grab his stuff and he will be out the door with you guys." Corrine smiled at us.

Mason ran upstairs and soon came back downstairs ten minutes later with his suitcase.I volunteer to hold it for him.Mason thanked me.We all got in the car and it wasn't that awkward. Emma kept asking asking Mason but Mason was kinda shy so he answered then in a quiet voice.I understand him.If I was him I would be kinda shy too at first but I'm sure he will get more open. Me and Emma and Mason arrived at the college.We walked through the clean glass doors and we headed to Emma's dorm where Mia and Andi were once screaming at each other again.Ethan and Mason were just talking and Charisma was just on her phone.

"Ooooh is that a child?" Andi asked as she stopped screaming at Mia.

"What does it look like to you Andi?What does it look like?" Mia asked.

Andi just simply rolled her eyes.

"Who is he though?" Ethan asked.

"Well your new brother!" Emma presented.

"Oh.Cool." Ethan said with much enthusiasm as possible. Hope you caught the sarcasm.

I wondered what was wrong with Ethan.He was never this down.He was always that happy kid you know.He is literally always happy for real.

"I have to go.Ethan is also coming with me." Cole said.

"I am?" Ethan asked in a questionly way.

"Yes you are." Cole said dragging Ethan away with him out the door.

Everybody just looked at each other weirdly.

"Well c'mon Mason let me show you around the college." Emma said taking his hand as they left the room.

"I have to go somewhere." Mia said grabbing her purse and jacket and then leaving.

"I'm going to go hang out with Philip." Andi said grabbing her phone and then leaving.

"I have to go play this game on my phone." Charisma said putting the covers over her head.

"No you don't you have to help me." I pulled the covers of her as she groaned
