Chapter 48 Preparation For Thanksgiving + Family Vacation

(two weeks later)

Maddie P.O.V

Maddie:DIEGO DO YOU HAVE THE PASSPORTS!?

Diego:Maddie i'm right next to you so you don't have to yell and yes I do have the passports.

Maddie:Ok good.Your going to sit next to Trinity and I'm sitting next to Brandon.

Diego:How about I carry the kids and you carry the suitcases.

Maddie:I'm so happy the kids share a bag and that it's small.You have Trinity's baby bag though right?

Diego:Yes and I will assume you have Brandon's.

Maddie:Your right!

We entered out the door and Emma and Jax got here with Ethan of course.They are here to drop us off the airport because if we drove ourselves someone might take our car.Emma and Jax got out of the car and Jax started to put our suitcase in the back.when i went into the car there was little baby boy in there.I got scared and quickly got out of the car.

Emma:Are you ok Maddie?

Maddie:Actually no.There is a little baby boy in that car!

Emma:Oh yeah me and Jax forgot to tell you.

Maddie:Tell me what?

I asked curiously.

Emma:We adopted this little baby boy.Ethan will grow up and move out soon so i decided I want a little kid.

Maddie:You seriously wanted all boys?

Emma:Well I was think of adopting a baby girl in the future probably when my little baby boy is 10.

Maddie:What's his name?

Jax:Mason.

I jumped.Jax literally just said it out of nowhere.

Diego:I like that name.

I smiled.I like that name too.

Diego:Maybe when he grows up he can be friends with our little kids.

Emma:That would be great!

We all soon got in the car and headed to the airport.I went through all the airport stuff and waited in our gate for our plane.I will miss them because I'm not coming back until January 2nd.

Charisma P.O.V

I finished my grocery shopping while Sam followed me around so that we can talk after.I paid my stuff and went to my car.Sam helped me put my groceries into the car.I put my cart away and then faced him.

Charisma:Start talking I have kids at home.

Sam:You married?!

His face started getting dark and he shoulders went down.

Charisma:No I just adopted.

His face lit up like a Christmas tree.

Sam:Charisma what I wanted to say is I love you.I fell in love the way you sleep slowly and then all at once.(AN:TFIOS quote!I will be putting in alot of quotes so watch out)

I smiled.I really did love him.I should give him a second chance.Everybody deserves one.I gave him a long tight hug.

Charisma:I love you too.We can start over.

Sam:My name is Sam.What's yours?

I laughed.

Charisma:Nice to meet you Sam.I'm Charisma.Would you want to join me for Thanksgiving tomorrow?

Sam:I would love to.

Charisma:You can follow my car.

I then went into my car and he got into his which was right next to me.I drove to my house and he followed me.

Sam P.O.V

I found Charisma.The girl I fell in love with in high school.The girl that lights up my life.I continued following her car.Soon she parked into her driveway.I parked into her driveway too when she was done.I helped her carry her four bags of groceries until we heard music.We looked at eachother.We opened the door into the living room.It was a party that a teenager wasn't suspposed to have.It wasn't like in those movies where the music and the lights stops and the people look at the parent and they clear out.It was the exact opposite.

Charisma:Sam can you please stay here while I find my son.

Sam:Sure.

i waited for her as she went through the crowd looking for her son.

Charisma P.O.V

I looked everywhere for Cole except the kitchen.i found him sitting on a stool talking to Grace.What is Grace even doing here?!I went staright up to him and gave him the mad look I give everyone.

Cole:Fine I'll tell everybody to leave.

He went towards the living room and I followed to make sure nothing bad happened.He grabbed a microphone and started to talk with it.

Cole:Everybody please leave now.My mom showed up.

Everybody started to leave.Cole started to clean up.I went into the kitchen room to make sure everybody left.But then I saw Grace still there drinking a water.She shrugged her shoulders and put her water down then started to speak.

Grace:I was told I would get a ride.

I make a hand gesture meaning follow me.She followed me and I grabbed Cole on the way.When I went towards the door Sam was there on his phone.I assume he already put the groceries on the dining room table.We went into my car.Me in the drivers seat.Sam in the passengers seats.Grace behind me and Cole behind Sam.It was silent until Sam broke it.

Sam:So how old are you Cole?

Cole:16!

Cole answered loudly and bitterly.Then when we got to a red stop light.I looked over at Sam he looked uncomfortable.By the time we got back home it was snowing.Cole got back to cleaning up and Sam started talking to me.

Charisma:Sam why don't you stay for Thanksgiving.It's snowing and I heard it will be snowing pretty hard.

Sam:Sure I would like that.I will help Cole clean around the house.

Charisma:You don't have to.

Sam:No you are a single mother you work hard you deserve this.

Charisma:Thank you.

He grabbed a trash bag and started picking up the empty water bottles and soda cans.

I started on putting the groceries away then when I was finished I went up to guest room where Sam will be sleeping for tonight.I grab a thick blanket because it will definitely be cold.I then start emptying the trash can and I finally finish.When I head back downstairs I see Cole on the couch next to Sam watching the game.Then Cole finally started to lay down and close his eyes.I see Sam turn off the T.V. and put a blanket over him.When he's finished he looks up and sees me and then we head upstairs into our seperate rooms saying goodnight.My son has a fatherly figure.
