Seven days; that's how long it has been since the day they were able to disclose the encrypted files and images from the Noivern chip. Seven days since they had last been able to rest in peace. With information like that in their hand, every second felt as if they were being watched. And it didn't help knowing that Yoongi's house was in fact chipped by someone. The blue haired had discovered a small mic while he was cleaning his room. Hidden carefully behind the photo frame that hung on the wall. He had felt the tiny object when he was cleaning the frame, and frozen in his place. His mind had worked thousand thoughts at once. If there was microphone in the room, there should also be a camera somewhere. He couldn't risk letting whoever was on the other side of the camera, that he had accidently found out about the microphone.

Jin and Namjoon had noticed that gradually the night security was getting tighter and tighter. The punishment for being caught outside at night had been increased from one day, or an entire week. More guards were out on patrols, and did more rounds in their respective areas.

Hoseok hadn't noticed such things, but he had heard of a lot many rumors. One of the perks of being so social, he knew a lot of people. A lot of people who had all kind of gossip. Though the authenticity of those gossips varied from time to time. Even then, when he heard that in a near by city, a facility had been broken into, and some alien race was suspected he couldn't shrug it off. That kind of news wasn't new, or unusual. He would frequently hear about random conspiracy theories, how every crime ever happening was always related to the aliens, somehow. The most ridiculous theories they could cook. Though at times, some of it was true to a certain extent. However, when he stumbled across that specific gossip about the bombing he couldn't shrug it off. Especially when there was no official news on it. From what he heard, the break in was restricted one very specific part of the facility. That, however, wasn't what caught his attention. What did was, that nothing was taken, or broke. No one was harmed. The break in was at night, and it was discovered by the guards at the dawn shifts. The ones at duty claim to have no memory whatsoever about the break in. It seemed highly improbable. And Hoseok had almost let it slip his mind until he heard that Noveirns was included in the rumors. An eyewitness claims it was a group of Noverins who had broken in the facility.
It had happened nine days ago.
And they had the chip for eight days.
The chances of the two happening so close to each other, was one in a million.
It could be related, but at the same time it could be two entirely different cases. Either way, Hoseok decided it would be better if he kept it in his mind and cross check the story with other people.

Jungkook wasn't having it any better either. His entire building had a security check up. They used the excuse of some criminal escaping from prison and hiding in one of buildings for the past few days. He didn't really care about it. The only nuisance was that they had come banging on his door right when he was on the verge of falling asleep. Sleep ridden, he had stumbled out of the house, for a head count, while they did swept through the building. Looking for the so said, 'criminal'. Jungkook wasn't paying attention about what the police officer was rambling on about. However, his ears did pick up the hush conversations taking place in between two of the other police sub inspector. Maybe, it was because all seven of them had been feeling restless ever since the day they found out the contents of the chip, and so that's why when he heard the word aliens and kidnapping at the same time, his attention had immediately piqued.
