Oliver felt himself pale even more as he heard those words. Sure, he knew that Barry knew, but to hear him say that he did, it was frightening, especially because of how Barry looked right then. "Barry..." he said, trailing off. "Let me explain." He grabbed one of the speedster's hands.

Barry snatched his hand back, his mouth in a snarl. "I'd love to hear your explanation about this, Oliver," he snapped, sitting down. "I'm giving you five minutes to explain, then it's my turn."

Oliver sighed as he watched the speedster. "Listen, this wasn't the way I intended things to go, okay? I would've proposed to you actually a week later. But when Nyssa and Talia called to me, I knew I had to go because they don't mess around. And I'm sorry," He said, his mind racing to try and find the words.

Barry looked at Oliver. "You know, that had to be the worst apology I have ever heard," he said, his voice hoarse. "You lied to me, straight to my face even. I asked you what was going on, so this wouldn't escalate, and so we wouldn't end up here. You chose deliberately to lie to my face, and I am supposed to be the person that you can come to with anything, that you can tell anything, and yet, you chose to meet with two assassins that we barely know."

"I trust them," Oliver said simply.

"Clearly more than you trust me, correct?" Barry snapped. "You know the funny part of this all, Oliver? If you had told me that we had to get married to keep me alive, I would still have said yes. It would feel a little more rushed, but we could have still had our wedding. Yet, you chose to trust two assassins who're the daughters of the man who basically killed you."

Oliver looked down, not saying anything. He'd only make this worse.

"But I had to find all the answers by piecing things together from your old cases, and I brought in two of our friends to help me. I should never have to ask that of them. Our friends and family do not need to be caught in our cross fire, Oliver!" Barry yelled. "The fact is, Oliver, is you don't trust me, nor do you feel the need to communicate with me."

"I do trust you!" Oliver said loudly.

"But you don't! A relationship is about communication and trust; you do neither. I have tried over and over to chip down that wall you have put up, but you won't let me in." Barry ran his fingers through his hair in stress.

Oliver stood up in annoyance. "Do you know the amount of things I've gone through? Of course I have trust issues!" He snarled.

Barry shoved Oliver back, wagging his finger. "No, you don't get to use those trust issues as a reason. I have them, too. I have been lied to multiple times, betrayed more than I care to admit. It's all because I trust way too easily."

Oliver felt his mouth clamp shut. Barry made a good point.

"We have lied to our friends and our families to keep them safe, but we are supposed to be able to share what haunts us because we truly understand one another." Barry held his hands on his head. "You will never trust me, Oliver, and you will never let me in. And I don't think I can be in a relationship, or want to be in a relationship, where someone lies to my face, doesn't trust me, nor do I think I can marry someone like that. So here's the truth, Oliver," Barry bellowed. "I'm done. I give up! I'm breaking up with you!" He twisted the ring off his finger. "We need space, and I'm moving out." He threw the ring at Oliver's face before stomping off to grab his things.

Oliver caught the ring and sighed. He went over and grabbed the case. Opening it, he pulled off his own ring, and placed the two rings inside. Tears started to fall down his face.
