"I'm singing in the rain!" Blared the television.

"I told you," Nora Allen said to young Barry. "Everything's better in song. When you speak, it's just words. But when you sing, you open up your soul and let who you really are shine through.

Young Barry grinned. "Thanks, Mom."

Nora kissed his head. "I love you, my beautiful boy."

"I love you, too."

Present day:

Cisco noticed Barry watching Singing in the Rain again, and he walked up behind the speedster.

"This..." Barry sighed, noticing his friends presence. "Again? What, are you going to spend the rest of your life sitting around on the couch? Come on."

Barry groaned as Cisco motioned for Barry to move.

"You've been doing this for days. Let's do something," Cisco said. "Let's go out."

Barry shook his head, continuing to groan. "No, man, I'm sorry. I-I don't feel like going out."

Cisco sighed, walking around the couch. "What is it with you and musicals these days anyhow?"

"Everything's better in song," Barry pointed out. "I would know. My entire life at Dalton was easier with singing."

"Listen, dude, I know you've been going a tough time since you and Oliver broke of the engagement, or I guess..."

"What?"

"Technically, since you broke of the engagement." Cisco closed his eyes in an attempt to make sense of it. "Whoever broke off the engagement, it doesn't matter, I just-I don't, man. I want to help."

Barry looked at him. "Nothing you can really do. Unless you can convince me that Oliver isn't a complete jerk wad. Sorry, that was Sebastian."

Cisco sighed sadly. "Really? I guess I'm just gonna have to let Mr Gene Kelly take over cause lord knows, I can't do anything about that." He walked back around the couch, smiling.

Their phones buzzed, and Cisco looked at his. "It's Iris."

"Yeah," Barry agreed, sighing again. He reluctantly got out of his chair.

At Star Labs, a breach was opening. Cisco and Barry arrived to see Iris, Wally, and Eddie there. H. R was visiting for the moment.

"Barry," Eddie said, motioning to the breach. "Someone's coming through."

"Could be Gypsy," Cisco suggested hopefully.

"Could be, or it could be..." Iris trailed off. The breach wooshed, and suddenly Mon-El and J'onn stood there. Mon-El was holding an unconscious Kara in his arms.

Barry moved forward. "What the hell happened to her?" he snapped. "Kara..."

"We don't know, but whoever did it came to this world," J'onn said.
