She said while looking over her many notes on glyphs, believing she discovered another one to try out.
Luz: Aha! There we go!
She stood up, new glyph in hand, and ready to fire it, as she didn't know what it does, she doesn't wish to be burned, blasted, or something worse.

Looking down, she saw a frog... man, thing, not too far away.
Luz: Perfect! Sorry in advance little fella!
She took aim, having a clean shot of the creature, all while movement happened behind it.

Luz: AAHHH!!!! Willow!!!!
She shouted as, right when she fired, Willow appeared and made her flinch, which forced her to move her hand.
Luz: Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshohmygosh, WILLOW!!
She ran over to inspect her friend, who was stone stiff, stuck in the smile and wave with her foot out for how she walked. Luz waved her hand in front of her face, the girl's eyes unmoving and unblinking, making the young witch in training more scared.
Luz: Willow?

She asked while poking the frozen girl's side.

She yelled louder as Willow was now on her side, still unmoving, the frog thing from before watching.
