You were rushing through the rain to get into line at your favorite place, Bleu Coffee. As you swung open the door you bumped into a tall, slender, brown-haired man in a suit. "O-oh my goddess, I-I'm so sorry sir," you say flustered looking down with embarrassment. " Oh that's okay don't worry about it, it's not a big deal," he says laughing a little because of how flustered you were. As soon as you heard his voice you looked up, your hair wet, face a shade of pink, and you two just stared at each other for what seemed to be forever, but was really just a moment!

All of a sudden you blurted out, "Hi my name is y/n!" "Well hello y/n, I'm Spencer." He stated a bit awkwardly. "Nice to meet you, Spencer." The whole situation was really awkward and you probably didn't make it any better, but you successfully ordered your coffee after he did and moved on with your day.

You only thought about the whole situation a couple of times throughout the day replaying a hundred different ways you could have handled it.

.....

It was three days later and you were back at Bleu Coffee again with your friend, Abigail. You had decided to go here since it was your favorite and she had never had it before. "Okay, Okay what should I get?!" She said enthusiastically. "Well, I'm pretty plain, I just get caramel iced coffee with two sugars," you shrug, "nothing special." "So what you're telling me is that this is your favorite place and you don't get something spectacular?" She says with her arms crossed and a confused look on her face. "No, I guess not." you both laughed. "Alright well, I guess since you are no help for finding something new, I'll just get what you're getting and see what all the hype is about!"

After you were both done ordering you sat down at one of the little two seating tables and chatted for a minute. You walked up to the counter to grab both of your coffees and as you approached the counter you saw him. You saw Spencer walking into Bleu Coffee. You kind of just stared for a moment because you were contemplating whether to go say hi or not. "Ummm...y/n...  Earth to y/n!" '' Oh uh sorry I just-" Abigail interrupted you, "Do you know him??" "No, well yeah, but not really... a couple of days ago I bumped into him by accident when walking into here. All we did was exchange names and it was kind of awkward, but there was something about him." You declared. "You know what, you're going to go talk to him!" She exclaimed. "I what?" She started pushing you forward to go talk to him, "Abbie, NO, what am I even going to say?" She just ignored you and kept pushing until you got to him.

"Hi, I'm Abigail! And this is y/n, in case you forgot you two met a couple of days ago right here actually!" She emphasized. "Hey Abigail it's nice to meet you and nice to see you again y/n. I do remember you, you bumped into me right?" Spencer responded. "Hi um- yeah I did," you said with a nervous laugh. You guessed Abigail really wanted you to talk to him because from that point on she was your wing woman and asked him "Once you order your coffee, do you want to sit with us?" "Uh sure I have some time before work," he stated.

We walked back to an open table with three seats instead of two this time waiting for him to order his coffee and then sit down with us. "So you said you had time before work and I noticed you wear a suit, what do you do?" You asked. "Oh, I uh- work for the FBI," Spencer says hesitantly like he was afraid to tell you. "OMG!! That's soooo cool!!" Abbie says right away. "Yeah! That is really cool Spencer," you answered, not as enthusiastically, you were still a little nervous talking to a stranger. He then asked, "What do you two do for a living?" "We both are in clothing design actually," you revealed. "Were college besties!" Abbie giggled, bumping into you slightly. "A new study actually showed that the factors that predict success with post-college friendships are maintained not just by living close to one another but by picking up the phone and calling your friend whenever something important happens in your life, whether it is good news or bad!" He ranted with confidence. You found it kind of cute that he had this passion when he was talking about some random statistics.

You guys had at least talked for thirty minutes before he had to leave for work, just getting to know each other. After warming up to him, you soon realized that he was sweet, kindhearted, and well-hot. He was really, really hot.

.....

You guys had eventually just run into each other all the time and would stand in line together. Secretly you thought it was planned because it was at the same time most days just hoping to see each other.

Eventually, Spencer asked, "Hey can we exchange phone numbers? So you know we can meet up instead of just bumping into each other!" "Yeah sure!" you say giggling flirtatiously. You pulled out your iPhone 12 and began making a contact and handing it to him to type his number into it. He also then pulled his phone out, it is extremely outdated, not even a smartphone. You both now had each other's numbers and it was nice that he asked so you didn't.

Once you guys left Bleu Coffee, you asked Spencer if he wanted to walk through the park down the street with you for a bit. He agreed and you guys talked for most of the morning. He got a phone call and that was when he had to leave. He said work had called him in. You two parted ways and you just went home.

You finally got to your apartment and fumbled with your keys for a minute before finding the right one and sticking it into the keyhole. You walked into your apartment and threw your bag down on the bench next to the door. You then walked to your bedroom and began taking your dirty clothes off from the day and threw them into the hamper in your closet. Next, pull out a sports bra, some gray sweatpants, and fuzzy socks. You walked out through the living room and to the kitchen grabbing a bag of popcorn and putting it into the microwave for three minutes. You walked over to the cabinet to grab a cup and fill it up with water and ice.

*Beep* *Beep*

The popcorn was done so you grabbed it, put it into a bowl, and went to sit down and watch a movie. Twilight, one of your faves.
