Chapter 2

*Ring*Ring*Ring*

You wake, picking the phone up, "Hey Abbie, what's up?" you say in a groggy voice "Hey girl!" she says a little extra bubbly this morning, "Do you want me to pick you up for work?" "Oh yeah, that would be great! What time will you be here? I kind of just woke up." You mentioned. "I'll be there at 9 am, Okay?" "Okay, see you then." You answered. "See you lovie!"

You both hung up.

You get up off the couch, picking up the spilled popcorn and your ice water cup. Walking into the kitchen and putting the glass and bowl in the sink. You were starving so you headed to the fridge and grabbed a yogurt eating it really quickly.

It was 7:30 so you had time to take a full shower. You went into your bedroom and grabbed a towel, then headed into the bathroom to go turn the water on waiting for it to warm up. While waiting you brushed your teeth. You played your favorite Spotify playlist and jumped in. Once you were completely done with your shower you turned off the water and got out wrapping yourself in the towel. You walked over to the sink to wash your face. 

Then walking out of your bathroom and going to your closet picking out a white long sleeve button-up, a white and brown cow print strapless bra, ripped light jeans, and of course some underwear. You next walk over to your jewelry box grabbing a gold chain necklace and hoops. Going back to your bathroom, leaving your hair with its natural wave and no frizz product. Then applying light makeup. Just some concealer, mascara, and lip gloss. Popping your lips after applying it. "Ready!" you say leaving your bathroom and room to go put on some white heel boots.

It was now 8:58 and you got a text from Abigail saying,

Hey babes, I'm here!

You grabbed your purse and phone and headed downstairs to Abigail's car. "OKAYY, I SEE YOU GIRLLL!!!" she screeched. You just laughed and got in the car. Abigail was already playing your guys' conjoined bestie playlist just for the car rides you took together oh so very often. "So have you talked to pretty boy since you got his number?" she asked, grinning widely. "No, but I was thinking about calling him to see if he wanted to get dinner sometime," you say looking at her to see if she would get mad at you for not contacting him yet. "I see you looking at me y/n. All I have to say is that you have to hit that before-" ''ABIGAIL VALENTINE" You interrupt her, "I don't just want to hook up with him." "Yeah, but it's been so long since jo-he who shall not be named... You just have to get back out there and rip off the band-aid!" She demanded, lovingly. "Yeah okay I guess you're right, but he is just way too sweet. I can't just rip our clothes off and then ghost him." you echoed, "How about I call him at lunch?" you more stated than asked.

You and Abigail had finally arrived at work and once you got in there you realized that you had a lot to do today, it wasn't going to be a fast workday! You sat down in your office getting right into designing pieces for the show the following weekend.

You hear your phone buzzing in the drawer next to you. You open the drawer and grab your phone looking to see who it is. "Spencer," you say whispering. You run out of your office and head right next door to Abbie's office screaming, "HOLY CRAP IT'S SPENCER OH MY GOD, OH MY GOD!!!!!!" "Y/N WHAT ARE YOU DOING, ANSWER IT!!" she yelled, demandingly. You click the green button on your phone to answer the call from him.

"Hello!" you exclaimed, trying to be as cool as possible, your voice still high from screaming with Abigail. "Hi y/n, I do realize that it has been a little while since we have talked but I was wondering if you wanted to get dinner with me?" Spencer asked with a little hint of nervousness in his voice. "Yeah I would love to!" you voice. "Are you free tonight?" he asked. "Yes actually, I am. What time?" You questioned him. "Okay, perfect. How does seven sound?" "That works for me!" you proclaimed. "I'll pick you up at your apartment," Spencer concluded. "Okay, I'll send you the address! See you soon." "See you."
