It was now almost 7 and you were ready to head downstairs to meet him. You were waiting on the sidewalk until you saw him pull up in his car.

*****

Spencer parked the car in the spot right in front of where you were standing on the sidewalk. He swung the door open, getting out and walking towards you.

"Hi Spencer," you say shyly.

"Hi y/n, You look beautiful!" He declared this with so much certainty. You could not believe that he had already made you blush in the first couple of seconds of seeing him. Those words coming out of his mouth made you feel things.

"Thank you! You look really nice as well."

Spencer was not dressed in his usual suit you were used to seeing him in. He was wearing a black button up that had only the top three unbuttoned and a red cardigan over it. He was also wearing a pair of black slacks, with a black belt, Mismatched socks, one dinosaur, and the other spider webs. And to finish off the look he was wearing black nice shoes. You paid attention to these things since you were in fashion and you just loved deciphering people's styles.

"Thanks, we should get going so we aren't late for our reservations," Spencer emphasized.

You nod and start walking with him off the curb to the passenger side of the car and like the gentleman he is, he grabs the door handle for you swinging it open. Spencer standing behind it allows you to go inside. You duck in saying, "Thank you, Spencer." Fully expecting him to do that because that was just the man you had gotten to know at the park and Bleu Coffee.

Spencer runs back around to the other side of the car getting in right away since he left the door open when he got out earlier. He put the car into reverse pulling out of the parking space and driving onto the road.

You were pretty nervous, but you hoped that although it would be your first time out with a man in a long time that you would settle your anxiety and just enjoy the date.

"So how have you been since the last time we saw each other?" He asked curiously.

"I've been doing okay, stressed out a little from work lately, but getting to go out tonight will give me a good relaxing break." You admitted to him.

"A relaxing break can actually help to facilitate recovery, by returning your mental and physical functional systems to their baseline. It can really help reset your mood, thereby promoting positive wellbeing and reducing stress." Spencer sputtered to you.

You loved when he did this, you didn't quite know why he did it yet, but it was the cutest thing ever.

.....

You finally arrived at the restaurant. It wasn't too fancy nor too casual. It was the perfect first date spot.

Spencer pulled into the parking space closest to the door so you two didn't have to walk far. He turned the car off and got out as quickly as possible, running over and opening the door for you. You grabbed your purse off the floor of the car and jumped out. "Thank you, again Spencer!" He nods back to you in an 'of course' manner.

You walk to the restaurant door, Spencer holding it open for you once again. You walk in and he walks in after you. Going up to the hostess he began, "Hi um- table for two under the name Spencer Reid."

She nods and grabs two menus calling "Okay, this way." She starts to walk and we follow her to a smaller booth against the wall with a window. You and Spencer both sit down and the hostess walks away.

You pick up the drink menu, looking to see what kind of wine they serve. Settling on a glass of white wine and then asking, "Do you um- want to look at the drink menu?"
