(vi) tragedy

5th april, 2014

"so how long will you be gone?", y/n asked, handing satoru the bandage that was kept on the nightstand

nearly four months had passed. four months of being married to gojo satoru.

he observed something new about her everyday.

she was lazier than anyone he had ever met in his whole life. she liked coffee though, and was happy to make some for him too if he asked.

she had a pretty good taste in music, terrible taste in movies and shows.

she would sit and listen to his mindless rants about the elders and come up with creative ways to make them die a painful death. like any true friend would.

if you asked her to do the dishes she would act like she'd been shot in the chest. she shopped a lot but didn't show it cause she felt guilty about spending the money even though she had too much of it.

"i'll be gone two weeks", he replied, wrapping the bandage over his eyes, "what'll you do?"

"nanami told me to accompany him to some exorcism so that, probably."

"why does nanami need your help? you're literally weaker than him", he snickered

"shut the fuck up", she rolled her eyes, "bye"

"bye, i'll see you later"

"fushiguro, who's the lady in gojo sensei's lock screen?", itadori asked curiously

"oh yeah, i noticed that too. she's so pretty!", nobara added, "his girlfriend or?.."

"it's uh.. his wife", megumi replied quietly

"he has a wife?!?!"

"nanami!! hiii", y/n waved, entering the tokyo curse college

"hey y/n", the man looked worried, "i.."

"what is it?", she asked

"something important just came up"

from what y/n knew about nanami, he was very responsible and very put together. so if he said something came up, it was probably urgent and unavoidable.

"okay.."

"do you think you can handle the exorcism on your own?"

y/n thought about it for a few seconds, genuinely. she was not as strong as nanami, but strong nonetheless.

"i think i can"

"are you sure?"

"yes, go take care of whatever's bothering you. i'll get someone to drive me.", she assured him

"great, that would be a big help", he nodded, "thank you, y/n"

"now when you say.... had..", horror was written all over the faces of itadori and nobara

but they felt worse when megumi walked away from them without uttering a single word.

it was still fresh in everyone's minds anyway. how could one expect that he, of all people, would talk about it?
