Nato il 1 febbraio 1994 a Holmes Chapel, Chesire, Regno Unito e è stato un allievo alla Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School. Styles fu il cantante della band White Eskimo, altri membri della banda erano il chitarrista Haydn Morris, il bassista Nick Clough e il batterista Will Sweeney.
