Liam's P.O.V.
I'm sitting on my bed listening to music, such an interesting life right? A knock on the door causes me to pause my music and as if on cue walks in Nick. "Hey man, dad's here. He says he wants to talk to us about something important." I nod my head but he adds something that catches my attention, "Now dude, he's in the living room."I nodded my head while getting up, this better be important. I'm not one to leave my room very often, Nick and Kyle both say it's very unhealthy. Whatever. I walk into the living room, noticing dad and Kyle laughing about something.
Nick and I sit down and dad begins. "Why hello boys, it's a fine evening isn't it?" No one says a word, awaiting for the bad news or something. "There is a very important matter I came here to discuss, first off, does everyone remember Carter Heavens?"
Everyone nods there heads enthusiastically, she's not only the perfect girl, she's the one me and my idiotic brothers are practically in love with. We lived next door from birth up until we were fifteen, then dad had to move us due to business. "Well, she has recently suffered the death of both her parents. Her father gave me guardianship over her, and seeing how I'm always moving around I thought my only other option would be to move her in with you guys. As long as thats okay with you all?"
We all looked at each other, a smile appearing on all of our faces. We are finally going to get our Carter back, what a day. Kyle takes the liberty to speak for all of us, and he sounds a very professional, not showing the real reason he's happy. "Of course dad. It's the least we can do for a close family friend, it's been too long since we've seen her anyway. Plus, we got along great in Michigan, I bet she misses us."
My dad has a goofy grin on his face, "I know that sillies. It's just, I need you to be kind. There deaths are really hard on her, they have to be, and living with three guys might now be a dream after something like this. So please, be nice to her and show respect." We all nod out heads, "I'll be back here with her tomorrow morning. Goodbye boys."
Kyle's P.O.V.
Something popped into my mind as soon as everyone left, "No one leave quite yet. My fellow triplets, we have something to talk over." They all knew I was serious, after I said that we all went into my room and sat on the floor.Nick being Nick had to say something. "Kyle man, what's this about? I have to attempt to convince Liam to clean this house before she gets here, we all know out of all of us he's the only on who'd actually-"He shut up the moment Liam joined us on the floor.
Let's begin shall we? "Okay everyone, we all know that we all like Carter. Maybe even more than like her for some of us." I said looking at Liam. He's usually pretty quite, but whenever Carter was around he was anything but. "I figured we could make this fair. Everyone is allowed to convince Carter to date them, go out, or whatever. But whatever you do, it must be known of the others first. After a certain amount of time we all confess out liking or love to Carter on the same night. It will be hard, but we'll make sure everyone has the same shot. After that, we wait." A smile spread on my face, I know exactly what to do to win Carter over.
I wasn't surprised when I heard the question "Wait for what?" but I was surprised that the question came from Liam instead of Nick who seemed to piece together exactly what I had said.
A smile still on my face when I said, "We wait until she decides which one of us she wants to be with. Then the other two back off." He nodded his head in understanding, "Nick call your friend, Alexis. We'll have her do Carter's room based off the things we already know about her." He nod his head. "Come on boys, we have some work to do before tomorrow."
And with that, we got to work.
