Carter's P.O.V.
There gone, my parents are gone. The worst part being my dad didn't think I was worth living for. He'd rather be with my mom, dead, than be here for me. It's hard for me too, and he couldn't see that. He just had to make things harder. He had to leave me too, but guess what? I am going to stay strong, I am going to get through this. A knock on the door disturbed my thoughts. That's when Keith walked in, what is he doing here?

He smiled slightly at me, "Hey girlie, remember me?" That's all it took for my to wrap him into a tight hug. Keith and his wife were like my second parents when he lived here, dad had said if anything ever to happen I would live with him. "It's been a while. Huh?"

I nod my head, new thoughts filling my brain. Not sad ones either, but ones about my future. "Yeah, it sure has. How's everyone doing? How are the boys?" The boys. Nick, Kyle, and Liam where like my brothers. I missed them so much when they had to pack up and move away.

He smiles shyly at me. "Everyone is doing well, they boys are very happy to see you though. I told them earlier today that I was coming to get you. Sorry I didn't call or anything." I just nod my head, I don't care he didn't call, not at all. "Well I had something to discuss with you. You know that I'm usually never home, I actually don't even own a house, I stay in hotels half the time. That made me think, what am I going to do about you? Well, my boys have a place of their own, and said they'd be happy for you to live with them. Are you okay with that?"

Was I okay with that? Yes. I mean, they are like my other family, besides my own. But I would I be able to put up with there arrogant ways? Would I survive living with three teenage boys? I'd have to make it work. "Yeah, sounds a great. Haven't seen them in so long."

He smiles at my reaction. "Well, I know you were expecting your social worker, but I got that sorted out. Grab your bags Carter, we're going home." That's all it took for me to be excited, but, can I really live a happy life? Yeah.

It didn't take long for us to be on the road, it was actually nice too. We drove there in silence, but I wasn't a weird silence, it was comforting. I feel asleep, with one thought on my mind; I'm so happy this is where I'm going.

Nick's P.O.V.
"Come on everyone, she should be here any minute!" Yelled an overly excited Kyle. It took all night, but I took one last look at Carter's new room, it was perfect. The dark purple and light purple walls giving off a cool vibe. A quote right above her bed saying, 'I love you to the moon and back.' With matching moon and star artwork thanks to Liam and his art skills. Along with dark black blankets and sheets on her bed, she's never been one for bright colors. Her door has a license plate with her name on it, we all have that on our doors. Luckily we were able to get one for she last minute.

I smile to myself and rush into the living room, clean living room. Noticing everyone trying to look casual on the couches, keeping in how excited they actually are. "Nick sit, she should be here any minute. Dad called, said he'd been here really soon."

That's when a knock sounded at the door, I was the closest to I went for it. When I opened it I saw dad, along with a very different and grown up Carter. I stood there I'm awe as dad spoke, "Why Nick, why don't you let me and the young lady in?" I nod my head and step aside, I did notice the smell of Carter's perfume as she passed by. God, this girl is gonna be the death of me.

I closed the door behind them, and slowly walked back into the living room. Not only is she at a vulnerable state, but she was also unknown to us now. It's been two years since we have see her, and she even looks a lot different. When I walk In she was giving the boys hugs. I mean seriously, I saw her first. "Carter I see how it is, see me first save me the best hug?"

She let's out a little giggle, I was expecting some smart comeback. But what she said next surprised even me, and it made Kyle and Liam send me some dirty looks. "You always save the best for last." She said while walking over to me and wrapping he arms around my neck. I put mine around her back and pulled her close, this I could get used to.

We pulled away from each other and I smiled at her. "Now, why don't I show you to your room." Show nods her head and we walk away from everyone else. "I hope you enjoy your room. Me and the guys did have a little fun getting it ready." She smiled when we pulled up to her door, she saw the license plate. I opened her door and she stood there frozen. "Please say something."

She smiled as she hugged me again. "It's great Nick. Thank you, so much." I smiled at her, I'm so glad she likes it. We walked inside and she looked around her fingers skimming the artwork. "Liam still into art I see?" I nod my head with a smile, she does remember us. "What are you into Nick, any hobby changes?"

I shrug slightly, "I'm more of the partying type I guess. Nothing much has changed since the last time, what about you Carter? Any new interests?"

She nods her head, looking deep in thoughts. Like she was debating weather or not to tell me. "I had a lot of time when you three left, I didn't have many other friends. I then took on dance, I was the varsity caption."

I gave her a smile, but she said it like it really didn't matter. "That's a big deal Carter. You'll have to show me sometime. Yeah?"

She nods her head, a smile plastered on her face. "How about this Nick? Instead of showing you, I'll dance with you? Maybe your still not as bad as you were when you were fifteen."

I let out a laugh, yeah I was a terrible dancer when I was fifteen. But having the dad I did he made me take lessons, saying no girl would date a dance-less weirdo. "I'll just have to hold you to that dance Carter. And yeah, I'm a great dancer now. Not that I'd expect you to believe me."

We were having a moment, and just like that, Kyle and Liam had to barde in. "Man, your so lucky Nick. Dad sure was specific with letting her stay here. Do this blah blah blah. Don't do that blah blah blah. Hope missing all that was worth it." But it was.

Carter's P.O.V.
I'm sitting in my room right now, and it couldn't be more perfect. Being with these boys couldn't be more perfect either. The whole day I spent getting reacquainted with these boys, and they got to know me more too.

About eleven o'clock they all left. Somehow I thank my parents, without them I wouldn't be here right now. But that doesn't give my father the right to do what he did, with that terrible thought I was asleep.
