Carter's P.O.V.
When I woke the second time I had a smile on my face. Not because Kyle's arm around my waist, not because I was facing a sleeping Nick, because being here in general makes me happy.I took five minutes, but I managed to escape the grip of Kyle. I walked into my room and then into my bathroom. I stripped down and took a nice long shower. After my shower I got dressed in a pair of old navy sweats and a sweat shirt. I got my phone and head phones, had put on my running shoes.
I always go for runs in the morning, it's the one thing I have a set schedule for. I walked back into the living room, thinking I should let the guys know I'm going for a fin. They won't mind if I wake them up will they? It's only 6:30AM on a Saturday, it's not that early.
When I got back they were all still sleeping. "Hello people! Wake up, I have something to tell you!" I smiled at myself as all three boys jumped up. I loved the look on there faces. They looked shocked, and surprised.
Nick was the first one to speak, and he looked surprised. "What's wrong Carter? You do know what time it is, right?"
I nodded my head, making what I said next sounding obvious. "Yeah, 6:40AM I know, I know. I'm going on a jog, I should be back in thirty minutes. Okay?" They all nodded their heads, not going to fight with me.
I started my jog, and ran at a decent pace. But just as I was going to turn the corner I ran into someone's hard chest, I looked up to find a hot guy. Probably my age. "I'm sorry I wasn't watching where I was going." Said the stranger, even his voice was hot.
I shook my head as he extended his hand, which I greatly took. "No, that's completely my fault." We just stood there for a moment, "I'm Carter, just to let you know. And you are?"
He smiled at me, "I'm Blake. I was just going to a friends house. What are you doing up this early? I know for one most girls aren't this early of risers, unless It's school."
I smiled back at him. "Yeah, I like to jog in the mornings. And are your friends anyone I know? I may be new, but I sure catch on quick."
He shrugged, "I'm going to see the triplets. I have some unfinished business that we didn't get through last time I saw them."
I smiled. Is it the same triplets. "By triplets do you mean Nick, Kyle, and Liam?" He nodded his head, "Well we can walk together. I'm kinda staying there right now. They are close family friends of mine." He nodded his head in understanding and we just started walking towards the house.
I was surprised when I saw the guys sitting on the porch, coffee in their hands. When they saw me and Blake though, they stiffened. "Carter, what I need to you to do is step away from Blake. Walk slowly back us." Kyle said warningly.
I was going to say something and refuse, but the looks they were all giving me made me obey the order Kyle had told me. When I walked closer Nick grabbed my shoulders and looked me in the eye. "Carter are you okay? Did he hurt you?"
I shook my head, non of this making sense. Obviously the guys don't like Blake, and he may not exactly like them, but what is this about? "No. Why would he hurt me? Is anyone going to tell me what's going on?" They all remained silent. I couldn't take it. I went up to Blake and gave him a hug, "Bye Blake." He smiled at me and handed me a piece of paper, his number. "I'll be in my room guys!"
The first thing I did was take a shower, and it felt nice to wash all the sweat off of me. I slipped on a pair of jeans and a lace top. I laid back down on my bed and decided to text Blake, he's the only person I've really talked to here. Besides the boys, but that can get kinda old.
Me- Hey Blake, it's me Carter.
Blake- Hey C, I didn't think I'd hear from you. I figured the boys would have given you a long speech by now.
Me- Haven't spoken to them since I went inside. Anyway, what's up?
Blake- Nothing much really, went home shortly after you left. Hey, are you free tonight? Seven o'clock?
Me- Ya, I'm free tonight at seven. What's it to you?
Blake- I was wondering if maybe you'd like to go out tonight? My friends throwing a party and they are usually pretty wicked... Why'd ya say?
Me- I'm sure if that's a great idea. But it's not a terrible one. Sure, you okay picking me up?
Blake- Awesome and yes. I'll pick you around seven. See you tonight Carter.;)
I'm going out with Blake tonight, the guy I just met. This is going to be fun. I looked at the clock, four, good I still have time. A knock on the door caught my attention and in walked Nick and Kyle, along with Liam. "Hello guys, what brings you here?"
They smile slightly before all sitting down. "We walked to warn you about Blake. There is a lot about him you don't know Carter, you should stay away from him." Liam said, it must be important, he never talks.
I just nod my head, "I understand that you want me to stay away from Blake. I do." That's my tactic, they think I will listen and stay away from Blake. I never said I would stay away from Blake though. They just assume.
They nod there heads, "Well we are going out. Bowling with some of the other guys, would you like to come Carter? We are getting ready to leave." I shake my head and they all leave, I'll have a clean escape with Blake. Two hours now, I better get ready.
