Chapter 4: The football game

-MARIS POV-

After we called Tiffany down and she left David and I cuddled on the log. "What game?" Matt asked looking at Anthony. "Ummmmm Truth or Dare," Ian looked up "Dirty or nah," Anthony shook his head no. In the middle of Kalel daring Josh I heard a crying voice. "PETER STOP," We looked over confused. "SHUT UP BITCH," I stood up trying to see if it's Tiffany or not it didn't sound like her. Kalel got up and said "Let's go check it out Mari, Mel you too boys stay here," We left into the woods and I looked back. I saw a girl with Peter what was going on. I noticed who it was a girl named Karma David's ex but we talk during gym she's been talking about Peter since I came. "Hey let her go," I heard the words slip out and noticed I was walking over before I knew it. Peter stopped and looked at me and held me in the air by my shirt. I looked behind me at Melanie and Kalel Mel mouthed,'Want me to get David,' I mouthed 'no,I got 'dis,' I looked at Peter and yelled "Karma,run," She darted and Peter put me down. "Shouldn't  have done that," I looked at him "Who says," He looked at me and grabbed my wrist;my wrist was stinging he was pulling me to who knows where. "Don't call your boyfriend," I looked at him and looked at Kalel who looked scared I mouthed 'Get the boys,' she ran with Melanie back to the boys.

-Davids POV-

I heard footsteps and saw Kalel and Mel running over to us. "Wheres Mari?" Kalel looked at me "Peter had Karma and was abusing her so Mari walked over telling him to stop he lifted her up and Mari told Karma to run so she did and he grabbed her wrist and he was pulling her to somewhere I don't know where," I looked at the guys. "Anthony,Ian,and Matt come with me girls stay here with Josh," They got up and followed me why do we have a game tomorrow I thought why was I thinking that. I heard Mari screaming then it turned quieter and quieter. We ran over and Anthony grabbed Peter and Mari was passed out on the ground I picked her up. "Why'd you take her," Anthony asked. Peter smirked "She let Karma go," I yelled furious "SO?" He went at me but Ian and Anthony held him back. He answered "Karma wasn't suppose to go," I ran holding Mari in my arms to her dorm. I lyed her in her bed and went to my room.

NEXT DAY -Maris POV-

Ugh I woke up with a headache. Kalel sat on my bed rubbing my head. "Hey sleeping beauty today's the first football game you going?" I nodded then held my head "OW!" I heard a knock on the door. Kalel walked over and I saw David. He walked over to me and I hugged him and didn't let go because I was scared of the game but I had to go. "Peter got expelled," I smiled and looked up I hugged him so tight and forgot my head hurt for a second. Another knock was at the door it was Karma. She smiled and walked over to me. "Mari right?" I nodded. She was in a cheerleading outfit and so was Kalel who was looking at my video game collection was also wearing one."Karma what are you doing her?" She looked at her feet "I just wanted to say thanks," She ran over and hugged me then ran away. I sat up and went to my closet to get Davids extra uniform and sweatpants and went to the bathroom to get dressed and I took an asprin to calm my headache. I walked out the bathroom and saw David left Kalel said "He's getting ready for the game," I nodded and sat one my bed reading "THE FAULT IN OUR STARS"

-Later that day-

I'm at the game watching Kalel,Melanie,and Karma pratice their cheerleading routine and the boys pratice football because the other team hasn't showed up yet. Matt,Josh,and Ian were sitting with me and I was watching the girls wondering if I could be a cheerleader. I walked over and talked to the girls they said since I'm bilingual if I speak japanese to the coach he might consider me and I need to do a routine that everyone else did. So I went over to the coach and said "\Watashi wa chiarīdā ni naritai.(I would like to be a cheerleader)" the coach looked at me and told me to do a routine so I did it and I was put as a flier so I would be on top of the pyramid and be the cheerleader that would be lifted in the air and thrown and caught. I smiled and said "Arigatō. (Thank you)" I ran over to the girls and got a uniform and David looked over and smiled. The football coach looked up and yelled in Japanese "Mosu wa chiarīdā o mite teishi shi, anata ga kyatchi shite jikkō o kaishi shinai to, watashi wa tsugi no ikutsu ka no gēmu no tame no benchi anata o shinai to wa omowanai baai wa, pītā to onaji kurai yoi koto wa kesshite naidarou ikutsu ka no bōru o kyatchi shi hajimeru,(Moss stop looking at the cheerleaders and start catching some balls you'll never be as good as Peter if you don't start catching and running and don't think I won't bench you for the next few games)" I looked up and shook it off.

-GAME TIME-

Once the team arrived the boys were ready to play and nothing happend except a boy named Wes was benched because he started a fight. Second quarter David caught the ball and got to the touch down line. All of the cheerleaders clapped and screamed "MOSS,MOSS YOU'RE A BOSS KEEP ON RUNNING DOWN THE FEILD AND SCORE 2 MORE," After the teams were tied at halftime. We ran to the middle of the feild and were getting ready to do a pyramind but in the pyramind people start leaving on the bottom and then I jump off and they catch me. I climbed on top and yelled our team name which was the llamas "LLAMAS FIGHT!" I looked down once it was time for me to jump and decided to trust the people down below I saw Karma mouth 'It's ok I'll catch you' I closed my eyes and jumped and was caught. I smiled catching my breath and ran to Karma hugging her because she was the only person I trusted when I was jumping to catch me. David looked at me and gave a thumbs up he knew I was brave but believe me I was a flyer I can get hurt more then base cheerleaders like Kalel and Karma, Melanie was not in the stunts she was one of the girls that only does tricks. At the fourth quarter they were still tied 34-34 and all of a sudden in the last 5 minutes David went running down the feild with the ball and got the winning touchdown. I screamed and ran over to him as it started to rain and kissed him who would've guessed Anthony and Kalel kissed too. We all walked back to our dorms going to sleep or playing videogames all the guys got together and went to David's dorm but I stayed in my dorm reading 'INFAMOUS'. Today was the best day.
