Red strings, usually known in books and movies. Nobody believes it until red strings that glows before they're pulled to their soulmates. Not everyone would be destined though, as sometimes these red strings can be cut and the soulmates would be separated. One of those people are idols Taehyung and Jungkook. Both were in different companies, having to compete with each other and their fandoms also hate each other. Who would've thought they would be soulmates?
Idols Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung are both in the same building, having to attend an award that both of them won in. As they were walking, they bumped into each other. Their faces had some glow on it, so they looked down, and sees that their strings appeared and is connected with each other. Both stared at each other in surprise, deciding to back away as people will make a rumor about them. Taehyung made small gestured and told him to message him. Jungkook got this and nodded before they walked outside to their car.
"What are we gonna do now?" Jungkook asks as he talked with Taehyung on the call. How they got each other's number? They're friends secretly.
"I don't know... Should we cut it?"
"Hyung... " Jungkook says, sighing. He took a deep breath and decided it'll be the time. "I like you" Jungkook says, hearing a gasp.
"You do? I like you too"
Jungkook chuckles, smiling. "What are we gonna do now?" Jungkook asks and Taehyung hummed, telling him his plan.
Taehyung and Jungkook looked up from the crowd, they're seen staring at each other and waving. And of course, the cameras would capture it, it's all over the place. It was part of the plan, having an indirect interaction and telling people that they're actually friends. Soon, they'll reveal about the soulmates thing and that they're actually dating.
Taehyung and Jungkook reads the comments, they're having a live together as a way to tell all of them what happened.
"Can't believe Jungkook would be soulmates with Taehyung, I don't like it"
"I'd rather have Jungkook be soulmate's withsome other idols instead of Taehyung"
"The pathetic Jungkook, soulmate of my Taehyung? Hell to the no"
"Pfft, pathetic"
"Fuck you"
"I'll unstan"
Both stared at each other, laughing. Even if they hate, at least they have each other and love each other.
