[Taekook] We Didn't Even Meet

In Taehyung's world, when your soulmate is in trouble, you would hear their screams. It was easier for police to know what happened then, as their soulmates would be witnesses. Taehyung didn't like it at first and just shrugged it off. He always thinks it's ridiculous.

Taehyung sat down at the bench in the park, wincing as he hears screams. But no one was screaming, is it his so called soulmate? He scoffs, shaking his head.

"HELP! HELP ME PLEASE! THEY'RE AFTER ME!"

Taehyung winces and shakes his head, groaning.
"Fuck this soulmate thing" He says as he stood up and decided to walk around. Normally, when a person hears their soulmate screaming for help, they would rush and try and find them. But for Taehyung, he wasn't worried or anything. He will love who he wants, not some stupid soulmate thing that will force you to love someone who you don't even know.

"Please... Stay away!"

Taehyung decided to listen to music. No use. He could still hear the screaming. Taehyung reaches the highway, waiting for the light to turn green so he and the other people could cross. Suddenly, a guy ran to the road, making people scream.

"Oi, kid! It's not green yet! Stop!"

"Oi!"

"Stop!"

As people continuously tried to stop the guy, a car came colliding with the guys body. Taehyung winces as he hears car screeching and a body rolling. His eyes widened as he realizes. The guy that was hit was his soulmate. The car screeching was what's happening right in front of him. He didn't even get to meet his soulmate.

Taehyung could hear the ambulance sirens, he could see the paramedics that came out from the back, he saw the stretcher that they held. And that's when he heard it.

"Time of death, 3:01 pm"
