October 30
Madame Maxine had recently told the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic School that they were to go to Hogwarts to compete in the TriWizard Tournament. Though Camille wasn't of age to compete in it - she was still excited. Camille had her trunks all packed and was with her roommates as well as Fleur Delacour and her sister Gabrielle.
Their trunks being loaded already as each of the girls had gone into the carriages they were assigned.
"What do you think it's like?" Camille asked the girls in their carriage.
"Hogwarts?" Fleur questioned and Camille nodded her head. "Not sure. But I've heard it's interesting. They don't have rules there is what I heard."
The gigantic carriage matched the same colour as their uniforms - powder blue which also happened to be Camille's favourite colour. Their uniforms were consisted of light blue clothing that was made of silk. The carriage was being pulled by a dozen winged horses called Abraxans. She could feel them lift off from the ground but it was so seamless without feeling a thump as they had done this many times before that they grew accustomed to it.
"No rules?" Camille's eyes lit up.
"Not like we do but I'm sure they have some. They have to I'm sure," she told the blonde she had grown to love over the years she had known her.
When Camille first came to Beauxbatons - she was sorted into Bellefeuille House. As was the rest of her friends including Fleur and her sister. It wasn't that she didn't like Beauxbatons - she loved it in fact. She loved the serenity of the gardens she felt anytime she went there to study. The magnificent fountain that was in the middle of the park of the school. Her parents had gone to Beauxbatons as well and now lived in Chamonix, France. It was a beautiful town with cobble stone streets that was close to the Mont Blanc mountains. It was where she lived when she wasn't at Beauxbatons.
Her father was a wealthy investment broker whilst her mother worked at Place Cachée in a confectionary shop called Confiserie Enchantée de K. Rammelle. Because their father made the most of the money to support their family, her mother still wanted to work and make money of her own. Her father hadn't been interested in any of the wizard jobs though he had been offered a position at the France Ministry - he had turned it down. When he had heard of the passing of James and Lily Potter, he knew he had made the right decision. He knew that it was dangerous and wanted to get his family out and in safety.
Though they had a mansion, they lived in a neighbourhood where the neighbours were witches and wizards as well. So if they did a little magic here or there, no one called them out on it or thought it was odd.
Camille had a close relationship with her parents as she was the only child they had. She was fine with that but she always wondered what it would be like to have siblings as it would be lonely when her parents were off to work and she was at home by herself with her nanny and maids.
Camille would often spend her days at the shop her maman worked at. Though it was a simple job, her maman loved it and she loved trying all the sweets her maman would make. Her papa often worked long hours sometimes not coming home until nine o'clock at night. Though he worked long hours, whenever Camille was off from school, he always made sure to take his family on holiday's. Wanting to spend as much time with them as he could.
"What d'you think the tournament is like?" Gabrielle asked no one in particular.
"I heard it was amazing. My papa was the winner when he did it," Camille boasted proudly of him. "He said that there's all these different tasks that you do but he wouldn't say what," she pouted.
