"Camille, wait up," Hermione called out to the french girl and she turned around noticing it was the younger girl and she smiled slightly.

Camille had just gotten done with

"Hi Hermione," she greeted her.

"I am so sorry about Ginny.  It's just we're close and -"

"It's okay," she gave a reassuring smile.  "I'm sorry if what I said came out wrong.  How do you say it?  It wasn't my intention," she said a little unsure and Hermione nodded her head with a smile.

Although Camille was pretty fluent in English she still was confused on how to express herself sometimes and it would get messed up and jumbled together to where it didn't make any sense.  Her parents spoke English as well but they were much better at it then she was.  They had years of practice whereas she hadn't and it was still a little confusing to her.  Camille and Hermione kept walking in the corridors.

"Anyways," Hermione continued.  "I wanted to actually ask you more about your point that you came up with last night.  I thought it was interesting and I know you are right.  That I need to back it up."

"Well, before we begin, I want you to know it iz not my thoughts.  It's just if someone does argue with you about S.P.E.W you need to be able to back up your beliefs instead of the argument of that its their right.  Understand?"

"Yes," Hermione nodded her head and allowed the french girl to continue.

"So what I was trying to say last night was that some of them may not want independence from their masters," Camille went on to explain.  "You see some of them are either used to that life that they live, or their family members can't get out of slavery, etc.  Or it could be that they can't find jobs elsewhere to provide for their families.  At least in France that I know of, we don't have many places that allow House Elves to have a job anywhere else.  It's wrong but unfortunately many places don't want to deal with the burden of their masters coming back for them.  You see?"

"I do," Hermione said keeping an open mind.  "So in France there aren't many job openings for House Elves?"

"Non," Camille shook her head sadly.  "Unfortunately not.  My parents don't have a House Elf because my parents don't like the idea of it but some of our friends do.  They treat them well, much better than most House Elves at least."

"That's awful," Hermione said as she shook her head.  "So then there needs to be more jobs available for them as well?"

"Oui," Camille nods her head as the younger girl was understanding what she was saying despite the language barrier.  "Iz there enough jobs for them here?"

"No," Hermione said agreeing with the french girl.  "All they can do is either be a slave to wizarding families or work in the kitchens here at Hogwarts."

"We would have to probably write a letter to the Minister of Magic.  Iz he a good guy?"

"Mr. Fudge?" Hermione let out a small laugh.  "I dunno.  He's not the best but I suppose he's not the worst either.  When should we begin?"

"Now," Camille said with a curt nod of her head.  "I'll take one of those pins, er, if it's all right?"

"Of course," Hermione said with a happy smile to have another person on board with S.P.E.W as she handed the golden girl one and she put it on her uniform.

"I think it would be better if you wrote the letter," Camille told the younger girl.  "You are after all the president of S.P.E.W, are you not?  I will help with the wording."

"Okay," Hermione agreed as she grabbed a piece of parchment and her quill as she began to write as she listened to Camille.
