GAME OF GUILT

Present day,

It was a cloudy, windy day where the whole environment has turned dark because of the black clouds whereas it was just 2PM in the afternoon but it looked like it was night.

Nature was resembling that for the first time truth is defeated, there were sandy winds and thunderstorms while the whole mpt was in grief pain they hadn't ate anything properly from the past few days, nights were sleepless. They never imagined that something like this happen one day.

Only one lamp was lighten up in the mpt while head constable PS was sitting on her chair with a bowed head and was trying hard to hide her tears.

Constable CC and SS were standing near the lockup with an pale face.

A old man with an long round white beard was standing near SI KS'S table, he seems to be 70+, beside him there was a small little eight year old girl who was wearing an pink frok and was playing with a doll. Suddenly her gaze move towards her grandpa and she speaks....

Girl: Dada ham ghar kab jayenge?

Old man: bas beta SHO madam ajaye fir ham chalte h.

Girl: Dada jaldi chaliye mujhe dadi ji ki bahot yaad arhi h vo vha akeli h.

As the little innocent girl completes with her words everyones eyes were filled with tears.

Old man: (with an helpless tone) kya krsakte h beta ham ham toh kamzor log h yeah duniya toh sirf taqatwar aur ameer logo ke bass me hi chalti hai.

As the old man completes with his words a sound comes from the door, nhii..... As it was very dark no one could see who it was but it was an familiar voice and everyone detected who it was suddenly lighting appears in the sky and because of the thunders light reflect on the person who was standing on the door becomes visible, it was none another then SHO Haseena Mallik.

Her eyes were red seemed as she had cried for hours her face has turned pale and she was standing like a statute on the door. She starts walking forward her each step was giving her the feel of as she was walking on fire. Her movement was very slowl as she didn't wanted to reach the destination while her head was bowed down in couple of seconds she reaches the entrance of the lockup.

She takes out the key and puts in the key hole of the lock she rotates the keys in an attempt to open it but as she was behaving very impatiently she fails and the process made her furious and she bangs the lock on the metal rods of the lockup resulting in an irrating thunggggggggg sound. SS walks towards the lockup and holds the lock in her hand and with an calm expression opens the lock and then opens the gate of the jail and asks HM to walk inside.

HM didn't wanted to walk inside she didn't wanted to face her worst nightmare but nothing comes before duty with an heavy heart yet furious mind she walks in, with the sound of her footsteps the prisoner who was sitting on the floor while hiding her face in her legs and arms, stands up with an bowed head and was just gazing the floor maybe she didn't wanted to make any type of eye contact.

HM moves further and stands in front of the prisoner. HM was in her police uniform while the victim was wearing a red t-shirt which was covered with an blue shirt followed by black jeans as lower and her feet's were covered with brown boots.

HM just glares the victim and tries to calm her breath, she was trying her best not to harm the culprit but the past incidents made her restless and furious on the other side victim's body was full of sweat and her hands and legs were shivering and was becoming weak with an each passed second. HM again stares the victim she closes her fist tightly she was trying very hard to control her anger but she fails.

There was complete silence in the thana and no one had enough guts to look inside the lockup while it was end of HM'S patience and she raises her hand and gives a tight slap to victim thaddddddd....... While a loud thunder emerges on the sky. It was a very tight slap which was very hard to bare for any normal person. HM had slapped someone for the first time in her whole life whereas the slap resulted dark bruses on victim's face.

On the other side PS,SS and, CC'S eyes were full of tears whereas the grandfather daughter duo was just looking towards each other. HM just walks outside the lockup leaving an broken prisoner who falls on the floor. She was defeated the truth was defeated and for the first time evil was overpowering the game.

HM moves in the direction of the old man and bows her head and join her hands in front of the man and pleads,

HM: dekhiye sir jaisa aap chahte thee vaisa horha h (while pointing towards the lockup) unki naukri bhi cheen li gyi h aur vo salankho ke peeche h bas aapse yeahi vinti krte h ki aap case vapis lelijiye pls sir plss.

Old man with a blank expression holds her hands and speaks...

Old man: beta tum hame sharminda kar rhi ho. Ham jante h tum hamari bahot izzat krti ho aur ham yeah bhi jante h ki tumhare jaise afsaro ki desh ko sakht jarorat hai par.......
(While sobbing) Jo hamari patani ke sath hua h vo ham nhi bhula sakte vo aaj ek ek sans ke liye Ladd rhi h. Mene apne beta bahu pehle hi kho diye h ab apni patani nhi khona chahta. Kabhi kabar sochta hu toh meri rooh kaap jati h ki mere baar meri bachi inayat ka kya hoga.

The small girl looks towards the old man and speaks....

Girl: Dada chalo vese bhi bahot late hogya h.

Old man: haa inayat bas chal rhe hai.

Old man: (while looking towards HM) yeah case toh vapis nhi lenge ham par agar hamari patani ko kuch bhi hota hai toh ham uss hevan ko zinda nhi chodenge (while pointing towards the lockup).

The duo leaves while HM rushes inside the cabin in an attempt to hide her tears she just stands while taking the support of the wall and starts crying vigorously she was hell frustrated she brutually kicks the table which was placed in the right of her cabin and all the stuff including the computer falls on the floor, everyone rushes inside the cabin while HM sits on the floor and hides her face in her arms and legs and starts crying .

CC and SS just picks all the stuffs and cleans the floor while PS places her hand on HM'S head......
