GAME OF GUILT

I'm nothing without you

Karishma was drowned in the pool of guilt while Haseena stood up and mumbled,  hum chalte hai.

Karishma was looking at the disappearing figure of Hassena while she was teleported to the night when she shouted at Hassena her eyes were moist by the time as she didn't know how will she mend her love's heart again.

While thinking this she started moving outside while the pair of mothers were just staring at her. "Aree hamare liye toh rukiye" PJ called her but she didn't pay any attention and continued walking.

When there was no reply from Karishma PJ moved outside to look for her but by the time she had left for thana. "Najane indono ko kya hogya hai" PJ said while looking towards Ammi. "Hmm kuch toh gadabd hai, par chinta mat kijiye PJ hamare dono bachiya bahot hoshiyar hai bahot jald dono shii hojayenge aaye hum apko thana choddete hai hum bhi ussi taraf ja rhe hai. Jii chaliye.

In Thana:
Karishma moved inside the thana being completely lost " jai hind madam" Santu and Cheetah greeted her but without replying to them she straightaway moved towards Hassena's cabin. She went inside but found no one there. Yeah maddamsir kha chli gyi? Santu tumne Maddamsir ko khi Dekha? She asked in a hurry. Jii Maddam vo aayi thi thane par 5min me hi chali gyi, unee kha aaj vo pura din field duty krengi aur aapse kehne ko kha hai ki thana aap sambhal le apne tareke se. Karishma was attentively listening to santu while her face fell as Haseena didn't even want to face her.

The day was a quiet one as everyone was doing their work without any chaos. During lunchtime, Karishma called Haseena but she didn't attend it. Karishma wasn't talking much with anyone while with each passing hour she was drowning more in the guilt the words of the last night were just alarming in her ears "Aur agar aap se nhi sambhala ja rha hai yeah rishta toh kehdijiye khatam krte hai bahot Hua"  she was just cursing herself for crossing the limits.

After completing her work she moved towards her home. Again leaving PJ in the mpt. While moving towards her home she bought a bouquet of white lily flowers for Haseena.

As she entered the house she found ammi sitting on the sofa watching TV, Ammi haseena agyi hai ka? She asked politely. Ammi looked towards her and with a smile on her face replied haa beta, upar hai tum jao change krke aao hum khana lagate hai. Nhii ammi hume bhokh nhi hai. Karishma replied and started moving towards the stairs when the main gate opened and PJ entered inside completely tired and anger was visible by her face.

"Aap samjhti kya h khudko hume thane akele chodke agyi pata h kiti mushkil se auto mila h. Hamare toh bhag hi fut gye hai" PJ chided. While KS without giving any heed to PJ moved upstairs which made PJ wild.

While moving towards her room Karishma was just thinking that she will straightaway apologise to Haseena but as she entered inside she found Haseena already resting.

The whole day she wasn't able to talk to her. She placed the bouquet beside Hassena and was about to caress her forehead but stopped her hand in mid thinking that at the current moment she don't deserve to come near her without her permission.
She quietly slept on the other side of the bed and soon dozed off.

The other day was a holiday for the whole MPT because they were doing their duty for a long period without any holidays and were completely exhausted.

Early in the morning, Haseena woke up and the first thing she saw was the bouquet. She picked the bouquet and smelled its fragrance she was mesmerised by the floral scent. When suddenly her gaze fell on the small card attached to the bouquet she immediately open it and found a small letter in it the letter consisted:

Hum jante hai Haseena aap humse bahot naraz hai aur ho bhi kyu na humne nazane gusse me apse bina soche samjhe kya kya kehdia. Sach khe toh hum nhi jante thee ki aap case ke rehte late hui hai varna hum kabhi sapne me bhi aapse ese baat nhi krte. Sach kehti h amma hamara fitting hi kharab hai aap vha logo ki jaan bacha rhi thi apni jaan par khelkar aur humne kya kiya... bahot sharminda h hum khudke upar aap hume saza dedejiye par humse nazare mat feriye Haseena. Aaj samjh aya ki aapke ass pass na hone se kitni takleef hoti hai hume. Najane humne uss din kese keh diya ki yeah rishta khatam krte hai jabki hum toh ek din bhi aapke bagair nhi reh sakte hai Haseena. Nazand hum kese bhul gye ki humari dhadkan toh aap hai Haseena aur dhadkan ke bina dil ka koi wazood h hi nhi. Aap humare jene ka zariya hai wajah hai. Hosake toh pls Hume Maaf krdijiyega.
