As you got ready, you were smiling to yourself. You didn't remember the last time you were so happy. Steve made you feel beautiful and special. You got back everything you lost when you divorced Andy.

"Mommy?" Nicolas walked into the bathroom.

"Yes, sweetheart?" You smiled at him. He was the best thing Andy ever gave you. Perhaps the only one you don't regret about your entire marriage story.

It's not that there wasn't love in your relationship. You loved Andy and he loved you. His work took up a lot of his time, which he couldn't give to you or Nicolas. You were sick of it. Sick of spending every night alone in bed, wondering if he was okay.

Andy wasn't expecting the day you filed your divorce papers. But that day had come and you both had to terms with it.

It was hard at the beginning. You missed him much more than you expected. Andy was your only support for a very long time. But now you have Steve and things were slowly going back to normal.

You didn't even admit to yourself that every day you got up or went to sleep you didn't think about anyone other than... Andy.

"When is auntie Natasha coming?" Little boy asked with hope in his eyes.

"I don't know, Nico." You looked at him. "Do you want me to call her and ask about it?"

He just nodded his head, smiling. Natasha and you were best friends. You could say, you've been inseparable since Steve got you to know each other. She was always there when you and the man wanted to be alone. You were very happy when your beloved son liked both your boyfriend and Natasha.

Today was the day when Natasha stayed at your place with Nico. You made an appointment with Steve for dinner. You loved spending time with him. He was different. Different than anyone else. You knew that from the beginning.

Reaching out for the phone on the sink, you dialed Natasha's number right away. She didn't make you wait long, and answered almost immediately.

"Omg, Y/n!" You know from her voice that she was upset. Very, to put it bluntly. "I'm so, so sorry! I was just about to call you"

"What happened?" You asked. "Is everything alright?"

"God, I should have told you earlier." She sighed. "But I totally forgot."

"Can you tell me what is going on?" You felt lost. Natasha should be at your house an hour ago.

"I had to stay longer at work today." Natasha explained. "You can't even imagine how silly I feel right now. I hope you will have someone to leave the little one with."

"Oh God..." You let out a heavy breath. "Don't worry, I'll think of something."

It has upset all your plans. You had no one else you trusted enough to entrust him with looking after your baby.

And then... One person came into your mind.

"Andy?" You started. "Hi, it's y/n here. I was wondering if you're free tonight?"
