Chapter 10

Later it was 3am and I still wasn't asleep. I had been looking at myself in the mirror all night with the blade close to my skin.

Should I do it? I thought. If I wasn't clean for the past day I would've done it in a heartbeat, but I wanted to stay clean. If it wasn't because of Jay, I would've called him.

I would call Ricky, but he was probably asleep.

So there I was, looking at myself cluelessly in the mirror asking myself a simple question:

Should I do it?

Later I didn't even care if he was asleep or not. If he was a true friend he wouldn't care.

"Hello.." He said with a tired voice.

"Hey. I can't sleep." I could hear the sound of him sitting up.

"Why?"

"Because when I left with Jay, he accused me of ditching him for you guys." I could feel tears brimming in my eyes. I couldn't do this. Since I met him, we were inseparable. I couldn't do anything without him, except cut.

"Well, if he doesn't understand, he's not a true friend."

"You didn't understand."

"Shut up. And try to get some sleep, I'll see you tomorrow. Oh, and something else, do you want me to pick you up?"

"Sure." I said with a yawn.

"I knew you were tired. Now go to bed, and be ready by the time I call you."

I said okay and hung up. I decided on not cutting and went to bed.

The next morning basically went like any other except I got picked up by Ricky and the guys.

Later we got to school and I got to know Rainee better. Turns out she got bullied at her old school so her parents sent her away. We became best friends that day and she told me how much she liked Jc.

"How long have you known them? You're so lucky." She smiled.

"I've known them since the 1st grade.. We were best friends. But then they started bullying me when we got to 6th grade. Then in 7th I met Kian and he was actually a nice guy until they sucked him in." She looked at me with concern.

"How come they were so nice on youtube?"

"It was a disguise." I said and we laughed.

"Sooooo do you have a thing with Kian? He acts so weird when you're around."

"Well.. I kinda like him, and I've heard things about him liking me, but I don't think it's true."

"Oh.... uh.. look behind you." She smirked.

I turned around to find none other than Kian.

"How much of that did you hear?" I asked nervously.

He put his hands on my waist and pulled me closer.

"Everything." And before I knew it, his lips were on mine.
